  1. This is terrible situation, i am so sorry for you. But I can't fugure it out, how people can be so cynical and cruel, using human being to get into country, then run to another man...if things written here were true. Why no one thinks, what if something bad happened to girl...crime, accidence, serious health problems... maybe i am too naive.

Any way, be careful, i would infrom USCIS or some other immigration organisation about your situation.

  2. Yulia just past her interview for the K-1 in Moscow today!! It lasted all of 3 minutes. We are so excited.

So, I am buying her ticket here now (for about one month from now) and have a question. She will layover at JFK before coming on to Atlanta. Will this be her POE? I am asking because I have a choice between a 2 hour layover and a 4 hour layover. Will Atlanta be the place where she presents packet and visa for entry, or do I need to leave her plenty of time in JFK for that?

    Thanks.

    A very happy Jonathan)

  3. I am planning and waiting the arrival of my fiance sometime in late Jan or early Feb. Our original plan was to marry immediately after she got here, perhaps the next day. (Just the legal procedure, we will do a formal wedding later).

Will this cause a problem when we apply for our Social Security number? Should we wait until after we apply for the marriage, then do a name change? In terms of an immediate wedding, I am thinking about last name issues (it will be different than on her visa, POE card, etc)

    Any ideas here? Thanks

  4. I have to admit, I've been jealous of you all who got approved so fast with your NOA2. We applied mid May. Well, we just got our NOA2 approved today!!!! It was like that feeling you get as a child at Christmas. We are so happy!! My baby is coming to me.

The only thing is, I feel bad for all the men of Russia. I am taking the most beautiful girl in that country away from there!

I love you so much my dear Yulia.

    Jonathan

  5. I am truly happy for July petitioners who've got approved, but I just don't understand the mysterious ways of VSC. We filed in mid May, and when I called USCIS they tell us not to expect approval for another 2 months, that they are only now approving those sent on March 15! Our petition was orderly, pristine and no RFEs. This is so taxing on our nerves....

    Jon and Yulia, waiting patiently
