Hope all of you have a blessed 2013.

My husband has been here in USA for almost 6 months. In August he received his NC driver license. He needed help with his English, so he immediately started a night English class called ESL at one of the local high scholls. He completed this level 3 class. Now on 01/14/2013 he will start his 4th/5th level ESL class. He has not found a job yet but inshallah he will have this soon.

My husband arrived on Wednesday, July 18th at JFK in New York. His processing through Customs & Immigration took about 4 hours. His flight out of New York was cancelled due to bad weather so American Airlines sent him to Miami, Florida. There he took a flight from Miami to Raleigh where I got him from the airport. He has received his Social Security card already in the mail last week.

My husband is scheduled to arrive in the USA next Wednesday, July 18th about 11:00pm. I cannot wait! I am so excited!

When he sells his car, he should be on his way here. I am excited for you too. I really hope all goes well with you and your husband on July 16th. Best of luck!

Hi, What does this mean. . ."I have read that all visas in Jordan have to go thru AP as of March of this year?" I have not heard anything about that yet. I just got through waiting 6 months for USCIS to give approval to continue forward. Now we have another waiting period to go through? It just does not make any sense.

Just wanted to introduce myself and let you know of others on here who are trying to bring their spouse to USA from Jordan. Asalam Alaikum and good luck to you both.

The last lady at USCIS that I spoke to on the phone said the USCIS is still processing the papers that were filed in July 2011. She (Victoria @USCIS) also told me that they are 30 to 60 days behind their processing schedule. I was just curious if anyone there at USCIS has told you the same?

Hi, how are you? My husband is in Jordan too and trying to come here. I sent his papers to USCIS on 08/19/2011 so you and I filed near the same time. If you have called the USCIS customer service, do they tell you that your process is still within the normal processing times? This is what they keep telling me but it is actually over 5 months now.

I asked the lady at USCIS of status, she stated that my I-130 is still within the normal processing times. I said, "Yes" but it has been 5 months this week. she said yes, it is within normal processing times. I ask can you tell me anything else. she said "no, not at this time and that I had to wait longer."

Hi, I am Donna and live in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA. I see you and I filed our I-130's on same day. I am very surprised yours has not received approval yet. Neither has mine and it is now 5 months. I called USCIS this week but she said it was within their reasonable amount of processing time. Any way...Good Luck!
