Well interview went good but had a problem. We didn't send a certified copy of my divorce papers. The US didnt ask for it and we thought singapore would use what was in the package from US. She doesn't need to redo or reschedule. I got to get copies tomorrow and FedEx them to her and she can walk them in.everything else is done

Well my Fiancé is on her way to the embassy right now for her interview. I'm in US or I would be with her. Anyone know how long it should be before she can fly back home? I thought she got everything today but she said she won't get her passport back for a week she thinks....

Just got text from Her Mother that she has a letter from them so they ahve recieved it now. Nots ure whats in the letter yet as she is in US with me at the moment. Hopefully is good news

Maybe try calling the NVC And asking if they can give you a DHL number and you can track it yourself?

Just spoke with them. He said they send them off in Bulk so no DHL tracking. Was a good idea though. He said it was sent on Nov 14th and usually takes 2 weeks so Im just being impatient I guess...Just ready to get all this behind us

We finally got the NOA2 on November the 2nd and was told that it was sent off to Singapore now. Thats was almost 2 weeks ago and havent heard anything back. We tried calling the Consolate in Singapore but they told us they have so many of these that there was no way to tell us if ours was recieved. Is there any other way we could find out? We had some general questions for them as well and they did not answer any of them. Not sure how else to find out what we shoudl do next. We are already working on the forms needed and she has the 129F original. She is going back to Singapore on jaunary 4th and would like to have evrything set up so she could complete everyting then as she had issues coming into US last time due to be in States too much this year

She flew back to SIngapore for a short time after a 90 days stay and then came back for another 90 days stay?

Last time she was in US 60 days and then in Singapore for 15 now back here for 90....

My Fiance was just stopped in Houston after spending 2 weeks in Singapore. She said that the officer was arguing with the people in front of her and sent 6 people in a row to a room. We have followed all the rules during her Visa process. They 1st told her that she would have to leave and couldnt stay, even though she has return ticket for January. They then called me and told me that she will have to stay gone 90 days next time and that they didnt want people just going into Mexico for a day and then coming back nd starting the 90 days over. I jsut spent 3500 dollars to fly her back so she wasnt here for more than 90 days and he compares her to going into Mexico for the day. I aksed him how do we find out these rules and regs and he couldnt answer me. It seems its just up to the person that you see at that time. Its been over 7 months since we submitted her paperwork and they are just now processing March 5th and hers was accepted on March 13th. I guess Im just frustrated that we follow the laws and do what we are supposed to and this is what we get!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We recieved our letter stating that they had our Application. There were no request or anything just said that if they need more info they would contact us Basically....We have not gotten anything else and guess this is a good sign. they reciived our paperwork on March 13th and have already cashed the check shortly after....Just anxious I guess...Hopefully soon...middle of August

Well we submitted our paperwork on March 6th in Dallas Texas. They sent us an email that they have sent it to Vermont for processing. The check I sent was cashed so I guess its going good. We also recived a I 170 yesterday that just gave us a case number and to make sure her name was correct and to call if it wasnt. So Im thinking everything is going smoothly at this point though its very early in the process. I will say that we used this website on how to file and what to send. We redone ours 3 or 4 times at home just changing to make sure it was all perfect. Sure hope this all sounds good...Thanks for the site and all the info here

Can my fiancee be with me in the USA while we are preparing her paperwork and filing for our K1?

Singapore is a visa exempt country and she has her visa waiver done and has been traveling back and fourth with me. I was told that she cannot file for K1 because this is considered a visa and you cannot hold one while filing for another
