  1. Whatever happened in the interview wasn't enough for a decision so they will do AP so they can take their time investigating the validity of the relationship. AP can takes days to years with the average being 3-4 months

ok thanks a lot for the insight.

  2. My Cousin had a dual interview today in us embassy in haiti and was was told that they will call her. They didn't give her any paper work or ay thing they asked her three questions and that was it please help should she get a attorney.

  3. Hi Everyone!

My husband and I have been on the same road as you. We started our fiancé visa process in May 2009, he arrived in the US for Christmas 2009 and we married 2 months later. We've been married for 2 wonderful years and are in the process of removing the conditions on his status. It's been a very smooth and expedient process. We'd love to help any of you if we can, as well as to hear your stories. Blessings on your roads to happiness with your future spouses. :)

We believe God has led us on this path and we are forever thankful and continue to seek his guidance.

Hi everybody. Even though I am a new member posting today, I have been reading here on this forum for a long period of time. I was kind of happy to share with you guys about my I-129F approval just two days ago. I have never seen anybody that experienced the samething that I have encountered. I have known my fiancee for couple of years now and my first I-129F to USCIS was on Auguest 11, 2009. The USCIS approved the petition on January 6, 2010. my love had an interview @ consulate office on march 18, 2010 and got denied with the findings that we didn't provide enough proof of relationship (such as album full of pictures and phone records). Even though it was heart breaking to get denied, I convinced myself that they had a reason to deny since we only provided six pictures of us together and phone records that didn't show her number on my T-mobile call logs. Because I was using phone cards, then, that had 1800 # and a PIN #, Unfortunately,it only showed 1800# on my records. Anyways...petition was forwarded back to USCIS, who then notified me about denial and gave me an opportunity to refile. On June 11, 2010, I refiled I-129F (with fees)and received Notice of Intent to Deny (NOID) letter from USCIS on October 21,2010 to respond to a consular's findings (lack of enough pictures and no records phone interaction etc). I responded to this NOID with all supporting documents and promised USCIS i will visit my love to get more pictures of us before her next interview. On December 16, 2010, they send me a second approval letter and forwarded the case to the Embassy. It was then that I made a traveling arrangement to visit my fiancee to give her confidence and to be physically with her during her consular interview and of course take many pictures together that shows that we are in relationship. So, On March 28, 2011, I left San Diego and arrived in Addis ababa, Ethiopia on March 30, 2011. On April 5, 2011, my fiancee and I showed up (with all our supporting documents including album full of our pictures together, phone records, money transfer, and E-mail exchanges) early morning at U.S Embassy in Addis Ababa with full hopes that this journey will be finally behind us. At about 3 P.M, my fiancee was called to appear @ window #11. And at the end of her interview, which lasted about four minutes, she was told that her K-1 visa was again denied. This was just without looking at any of supporting documents that she substantiated. I asked the consular to tell me the reason for denial, all he would tell me was that he was not convinced. I requested to talk to his supervisor and she told me that she cannot reverse his decision but offered an advice to reappeal. We left the embassy's office really devastated emotionally. The same thing again....case returned back to USCIS and they (USCIS) sent me a letter of denial. On June 21, 2011, I refiled I-129F for the third time, and there you go, I got approved two days ago. So, for those ppl whose k-1 visa was denied at the consular level, you still have hope to re-apply at least for three times and still gets approved. This is as long as you have a sounding bonafide relationship with your fiance/e.

  7. OMG Im so sorry to hear that god bless you dear.

    :crying:

My fiancee arrived the Nov. 15th. I have been the happiest guy in the world with my fiancee until I got home from work today and found out she was gone. No message, no communication, her luggage is gone.

She seemed very happy here. We did lots of shopping, eating out, got a christmas tree in the forest, hockey games, cooking together..... I thought we were very happy as far as I knew. We had a great evening together last night, she seemed more romantic then ever and I went to work this morning like normal. She was talking to me via phone messages all day as usual.

Her phone is shut off now from the moment I arrived home from work. I tried to send her an email and it was rejected.

I do not know where she is. She does not know any people around my city. I found out through my phone bill she has been talking to people in 3 other states a lot for days so I assume she is in one of those states becuase she did not know anyone here.

I can not believe this has happened to me. I treated her like a princess always. I do not understand why women use men. I have known her for 2 years and we talked every day. How can women be so heartless to just leave and not say anything? I put 100's of hours into helping her get her visa and paid for everything. And she leaves me without any conversation at all?

I am confused as to what to do? Report her missing? Call the numbers she was calling? I don't think they will tell me anything she must have beening organizing with them to leave.

  8. My husband had an interview today. He provided the interviewer with phone bills, chat logs, emails, and plane tickets. The only thing the interviewer looked at were photos. He proceeded to ask my husband about how many kids I have and their names & ages. He then told my husband that he would NOT be getting the visa and that I needed to come back for a second interview. I'm just wondering what I should expect from this. Also, my husband had to go to purchase some kind of calling card for $10, which apparently is the only way to reschedule the interview. When I called to schedule the interview I only got a recording & a full voicemail box. Have any other Haiti filers experienced this? My concern is that I pay the $800+ for the plane ticket and he still does not get the visa. I will be beyond pissed. I'm so aggravated and frustrated right now I can't even put it into words. I'm holding on by a thread!

im so sorry for what happed i remember a while back while i was in haiti and had a question about my mothers case and they told me to do the same thing and it was a run around here is the email of the director of visa in haiti very nice black man maybe he can help you laurencejones@papnivstate.gov also contact you local congress also very helpful dear

  9. that's exactly what i told him because to just bring it with him and don't say nothing to them and if they ask for the original then for him to say it's in the packet they have because wow going to DR right now would be probable if our interview was in januarary cause We would have to pay a visa fee for DR and two weeks of hotel fee and food and Bus going and coming that;s a good $1000 around CHRISTMAS time that I don't have lol lol but I will keep praying for them to accept the DR one because they have the PAP one. WE NEED YOU GUYS PRAYERS helpsmilie.gifgood.gif

omg dear im so sorry to hear that I still dont understand why they requested a police report from you in the first place i would ask around about that if you send me your email i would send you my interview letter and show you what it says it states the required document is unobtainable for this country per the foreign affairs maual however my husband is get recived one any ways also i have a attorney on are case he says the same thing i really hope this dose not cause a problem for you my gosh.

  11. Greetings,

I live in Haiti and my wife is a US citizen that lives in USA. We use a phone called " myhaitimobile" there website is : myhaitimobile.com You activate your account for 20 US dollars and you pay 40 dollars as a monthly fee. You get unlimited calls to USA and Canada. The person in the US pay the 60 dollars for the activation package and the person in Haiti will go to a Haitel office to get the phone. After the phone is activated, the person in Haiti will be able to call USA and Canada unlimited. That is what my wife and I use, she just pay 40 dollars every months. This is awesome and cost less because before we used to spend over 350 dollars US each month to talk by phone. I encourage you to use the service guys. Thank you

yes i also use this it is great :thumbs:
