    Hi everyone. I need advice. My petitioner involved Congressmen in our case as we were not updated after interview since 17th July, 2012. The good news was that on 24th September, 2012 we were responded so nicely by our congressman that the visa had been approved and will be with me within a week's time. But it has been past a week and I just tried getting through the DOS which still say that the case is under AP.

    What should I do now? Wait wait wait? ;) or any other better advice?

    Dont worry may be its on final stage or consular officer review your documents....but not print visa at passport...so Gud Luck. :thumbs:

    DOS always said still pending.they dont have say any thing until anless visa is issue.

    Just track your passport at american express website.

    Hello everybody,

    first of all I want to apologize for taking so long to get back at u guys with my interview experience. That day at the interview was really fast everything was about one hour. These were the questions:

    Who is the petitioner?

    hows your relation with your father?

    when was the last time he visited you?

    Have you been in USA?

    Have you applied for a Visa before?

    Have u had any problems with drugs or alcohol?

    and that was pretty much it.

    oh and one tip ... when I got the interview letter they werent asking me for the police records but that day at the interview they did. ( good thing I got new police records since the ones I submitted expired already)

    I got my passport back 3 days ago and Im really happy to be done with this journey but now a new journey begins.

    if anyone has any questions please let me know and I will be happy to help.

    And I really hope the visa bulletin starts moving fast the coming months....

    Umm yea my status appears there. Although my passport isn't there. It gives me the status of what the last entry they made to it. It works and yes it doesn't work on Mondays', tuesdays, wednesdays... That is what i have noticed. During these days i get no record found. Rest of the days my status appears

    Some people say that the CEAC link which is due to work by September end, shows status of online e-filled applicants only. Is that true bro?

    Hi

    I have just joined this forum.I have a situation ,need suggestions from gurus here

    I had a CR1 interview on 7th Aug in ISL ,they put my case in 221(g) Administrative processing and kept my passport .Before coming to Pak for interview i left the job in KSA.Now i have another job offer from Dubai.I am quite perplexed whether to go for it or not , since i really dont know when will be my case completed. I also dont know how would it affect my case if i recall my passport from US embassy ISL.Need Suggestions .Thanks

    Dont lose job chance just give request passport back and give the reason why requesting passport back...coz No buddy knows when AP is complete.

    Its really Strange whats your status they gives last entry.and why not they work monday to wednesday?

    Yes it is true they show visa issued and not.but its work by the end of this month.

    Actually, the process I read on the website is that the Embassy at Pakistan cannot be contacted unless sixty days have passed and you do not get a response from them. My sixty days end on the 15th of this month. Apart from that, you can get in touch with DOS or check the status online at

    Or check if AEG got your passport using the following link:

    DOS says its still in Administrative Processing and they don't have any other information. So im thinking to wait till the sixty days time limit expire then ill mention the link which says enquiry can be made after sixty days when I write to the US embassy although going through forums I have learned that they only reply with automated messages and never let you know exactly what duration could your case take.

    I think only these people use this link to sent passport through American Express.not for all.if someone already given the interview and consulate take their passport at the time of interview not use this link.

    The USCIS link is only for the i130 petition not after the interview checks.. it only works with your NOA number and wont see your NVC number so that one is only for the status before the interview to see if your i130 is approved

    the AEG site i dont know if it works... the one person i knew that got their passport back never showed up in that system it always said not found.

    Calling DOS and contacting the embassy right now are the only two ways of checking... soon there wil be another link that works from the dept of state that we can check but it wont be working until after the end of sept.

    hey guys..i am in a fix over the DS-3032 choice of agent form..

    what do you recommend I should give details of my wife in US..(will it be any faster for NVC correspondence)

    or I should give my details instead (Pakistan)

    whats the expert opinion on the forum over this??

    juz to mention my wife juz got the AOS(I-864) in mail 5 days ago but I haven't received anything as yet

    Give the wife details in DS-3032 forms...this is the faster process for IV case..

    Thanxs sunny for the reply. i understand wt u r saying. i have checked the U.S embassy website. it says to apply for returning visa u need to have solid reason to stay outside U.S for more than 1 year like for example any kind of serious illness or working for american firm overseas. My only reason is i got married in pakistan and wanted to stay with my wife in pakistan. is marriage a solid reason? do i stand any chance of getting returning visa???

    Married reason may be its solid or not.......coz after married you can travel America..but i think its up to consular decision....coz its not 2 much late.....but after 2 years no chance to return america....so you must have to submit returning forum ASAP....coz Green card validity is 10 years...how much years you stay in pakistan more then 1 years or 2 years?????

    The reality of the situation is that the process of getting a visa has changed and we are now on the eve of the second new VB year after retro.

    You would want to think that we could pull on historic data to guide us in predicting future vb movements, however, this has not been working.

    I think that we have a great thing going in the number of FB-1s in our group posting when they get their ILs. This has worked consistently to give us an idea of where the VB dates will go. I will be sticking to this method. :)

    I hope Oct/12 VB............ F-1 moves 01/Dec/05.....Gud Luck :thumbs:

    Hello!! im 33 years old male resident of pakistan. i was once green card holder but due to some personal reasons i couldnt return to America for more than year. my father is U.S citizen and resides in America.Can he apply for my immigration again? Looking forward to your opinions.Thank you

    If you not return Amercia within 2 years you can contact US embassy and submit returning form i dont remember that forum number but you can vist US embassy....and if your father submit new petition then you have to wait 7 to 8 years unmarried children or married children 10 years waiting time.so i think you should have to contact US embassy islamabad without any delay i hope you understand. :thumbs:
