By the way, let me know how long you will be in Lebanon. We are wanting to get married on 11-11-11 if we can, and we will stay in Cyprus probably for 3 days.

I always dread the trip... it's usually at least 24 hours total, including layovers. When I flew here two weeks ago, I had a 12 hour flight from Chicago to Amman (in between my other two flights), and I took an Ambien after about one hour into the flight... I slept almost the whole way!! Try to take it if you can.

... continuted... Now I'm wondering if it's not a good idea for us to get married and go that route. Anyway, hopefully we can meet up in Nov. when you are in Lebanon, and the four of us can talk about it more then.

I'm wondering if the K1 process is totally different than yours, because I'm so confused about the things you mentioned here. I filed the first week of Feb, and just waited (I checked our status daily on the USCIS website), and then one day in the first week of July, I believe, USCIS sent us our approval notice... and then, we had an interview the very next month. I never knew about any estimated time frames, etc... and never got word that anything was moved, so I'm lost here. No...

We will never give up this fight, and will exhaust every resource until we achieve our desired result. In the mean time, Beirut, here I come!

I am disheartened by the fact that so many people are somehow able to come to America under false pretenses, yet people like us who have been truthful, and are in a sincere, loving relationship, are mistrusted, mistreated, and have have been denied the opportunity to be together.

Yes, and our situation seems hopeless, long story. It will cost too much money, in too short of a time period. We would have to file motions to re-open & reconsider within 30 days, and it's not guaranteed. We just want to be together, regardless of what continent we live on, so I'm packing ;-)

My fiance suggested this, that I move there. I guess that is the next step.

He was denied a few years ago, due to the fact that he was applying with several members of his family. I have never been in so much pain in my life, as I am right now, being separated from my love. I may have to move to Lebanon with my children.

I wish I was... I actually just got back from Lebanon, was hoping to be there for the interview, but I had to be back here for my kids to start school yesterday. I spent a wonderful summer there, and cried the whole way home :-( ... I hope to be posting good news in a few hours!! :-)

You sound like my fiance... I'm a nervous wreck, and he is completely relaxed... he has 100% faith. I guess I'm afraid of getting my hopes up. Thanks for the encouragement! ;-)

Thank you so much, I had actually hoped to be in Lebanon during my fiance's interview, but my children started school today, and I needed to be here for it. We actually got word over the summer while I was in Lebanon, that our case was approved by USCIS, so things are moving pretty fast, considering we applied in February. I feel blessed for that. However, I am so nervous about the interview, because I know that if he is not approved for the visa, we will have to start all over again, and...
