Thanks for the positive thoughts all.. For those still waiting, your time will come.

Thanks all.. When I get frustrated in the waiting game I tend to leave the country and see my wife. I realize its not an option for everyone, and I apologize for any frustrated feelings that may give readers, but dammit. I need to see her and not think about the CSC.
Leaving this weekend for a couple weeks in Colombia. Promise I will post this weeks (and hopefully this weekends) stats before I go.
I have finished downloading all of October and am still mapping it. Going to pre-download November too since I may as well.
Good luck all. May you focus on love and keep positive thoughts of your family first and foremost in your minds. Your time is coming soon. As is mine.

Oh.. Don't you know?? They *do* process in the order they are received. *BWAHAHAHA*
Notes from their Ombudsman (applies to refugee processing, but applicable):
Umm. So yeahhh.. I guess its possible that background checks for Colombia take a long long long time, but my guess is still that really it isn't FIFO its that agents grab a batch and some clear them some don't. Each agent is grabbing a few hundred apps and some are fast and some are on vacation (in my case apparently).
I will be positive. I will be true. I will be patient. I will receive my I130 soon.
Good luck all. FIFO or not, the apps are getting done. Your time will come and so will your loved ones.

The height of irony that there is more activity in September than August. Speaking as an August applicant.. #######.
I am sure the September applicants are excited though.
Good luck all.. Your time will come.

Oh trust me.. August is my focus since thats where my application is, but so far in there first 5000 apps of August there were 5 approvals.
Nice that there are a couple but not statistically significant to run the whole month yet.
All,
Don't freak out about the "unprocessed" apps. The telling item is what days they are working on. Out of the 24k remaining apps its possible 15-18k may not see the light of day. The most important thing is to see what days they are *focusing* on. Right now its July 11-13th. As that moves forward you can expect happy happy joy joy.

So in my day job as an ethical hacker I routinely solve data issues through statistical models and queries.
I have been waiting on my I130 since August. When I submitted it looked like things were being processed at about the 90 day mark. Now things have slowed down to roughly the 165 day point.
I give up.. I can't handle waiting in a bubble without information.. So...
I wrote a program to pull ALL casefiles in the USCIS system for the June 28-July 13 timeframe (since that appears to be where they are processing at the moment) and scan for status. Not unethical because the data is freely available, all I am doing is "mining" it. For those interested this was about 30,000 casefiles of which just over 15,000 were I130.
Attaching the results for WAC1190519000 (June 28) - WAC1190524000 (July 13) showing the breakdown of status and totals.
I will try to update weekly going forward at least until late August when my target dates are, moving the window forward as processing continues.
The results? Basically shows lots of processing currently in the July 4-5-6 range, but at least it gives me hard data rather than supposition.
If you would like access to the raw numbers in an XLS for your own manipulation, send me a PM.

I ran a set of numbers on Dec 23 that went all the way up to WAC1190657999.
I can put together a report that would cover August, but in re-scanning the first 6k records we have had only 6 change status in the last 3 weeks.
Not worth scanning until more of June/July is complete my guess.
