Finally Interview scheduled for July 11.Hanging there ST Paul filers we start seeing some movement!

Interview received July 11,can someone update table for me.Thanks

anybody with  good news from saint Paul office?

I did an info pass requesting update and why is taking so long to process cases.They said still experiencing issues with the new system!!! I think we are going to be waiting for a long time!

I passed the test but was told no decision could be made.

Ot jad been 2 and half months since and no update.

I called and booked an infopass 

Was told still under review there is no timeline

And i must wait.

I contacted congressman Ellison. Signed a release of info form.

They wrote a letter on my behalf.

And waiting.

I got the worst interviewing officer ever.

Great news.congratulations!Finally some movement at Saint paul office.

That's their standard answer! I think they based it on the fact of Saint Paul being processing cases up to February 2016 based on the processing time.

I am going to call and see if i get the same answer.!

My receipt # is IOE, fingerprinted June 22 at the St Paul office, still have not heard anything about an interview

I'm at the St Paul field office as well with an N-400. Case received on 08/31/2016. Fingerprints notice send on 09/12/2016. Since October 26, 2016 my case is in the "Case Is In Line For An Interview" status. The finger print lady also told me it would take about 3 months for the interview. I'm now waiting for the letter with an interview date. Nothing so far. I'll keep you guys posted and please do the same.

I'm not a St Paul filer but I know it is one of the slowest field offices in the whole country. Even before this new ELIS system they were running at 6-7 months from NOA to Oath. Must be even slower now with the increased backlog and ELIS mess up.

I'm assigned to the St Paul FO. I've just completed by FP last week and the lady told me it would take around three months until an interview is scheduled. My friend's husband just had is oath ceremony about week ago. He applied in March, completed his fingerprints in June, had the interview in October. Based on what the lady told me and my friend's husbands timeline, I think you maybe getting close to an interview date. Good luck!

I'm St. Paul, MN FO too. My I-751 case has been on hold since Nov 2015. I finally got an interview letter for 12/5.

But I already have an N-400 case going, I completed the biometrics on 11/4. Haven't received the "in line for interview" yet. Not sure if it's because BG check hasn't cleared, because I-751 interview is coming up first, or because I'm still 2 months away from my 3 year GC anniversary. I'm applying through marriage.

Thank you for your replies.I filed back in late June and got an IOE #.Had my FP done on July 12th,since that no news! My status still showing Biometrics appointment was scheduled.I don't know how long it's going to take with the fact that St. Paul is a very slow FO.

Finally good news. I got a text from USCIS today that on October 19, 2016 they have scheduled my interview appointment. Yay! Now time to start reading about the civics test.

IOE receipt number, field office Indianapolis. I'll update the interview date in the table once I see the letter in the online account.

I know most of us have been waiting for a long time. You guys should be hearing from them soon too.

I had my interview today and passed. Everything went really well. I got there about 30mins earlier. We went through a quick security line and I was directed to go the second floor. I got checked in and after about 1hr and 10mins I was called in. I think I was the last person to be interviewed. I went in with my wife but it looks like they usually dont allow people to go in with others except if the person is your lawyer or interpreter. After chit chatting with my interviewer for about 5mins we started the test. She first made me read - "Where is the White House" and then she asked me to write out - "The White House is in Washington". Which I did. And then we moved on to the civic and history test of which I got the first 6 questions right and so I passed that part too. We then went through my application. she asked about when we got married, our travels etc.

After that she said she is going to recommend my application for approval and then asked me if I am interested in attending an oath ceremony which was happening in about 45mins. I said yep!!! she walked us back to the waiting room and after 45mins later I attended the ceremony and i was giving the naturalization certificate. Overall everything went great and everyone was really nice.

I got an email today from USCIS saying they mailed my interview date on Sept 27th. My Receipt number is IOE and I submitted mine on June 1st and Biometrics done on June 24th. I hope you guys all will receive yours too soon. Good Luck

Just wondering what do you guys say to reach to L2 officer? i never had such success....

Just ask who ever answers your call to connect you to Level 2 officer for further assistance about your case.

They will ask you some basic questions then get you transeferred to the L2 officer,when you get transeffered

Stay on line dont disconnect.Good Luck!

I0E filer mid June,I spoke with L2 officer this afternoon inquiring any update about my case.i was told my case on its way to my local office,sent out on September 18.

I hope to get more info in the upcoming days.

There aren't many St Paul filers around but St Paul is possibly within the top 5 slowest field offices. We had only one St Paul filer, MnMs, who last updated beginning of August and she was still waiting for interview date. We haven't heard back from her since but I just checked trackitt tracker for St Paul office and someone who filed 3/28 will have interview on 9/28. Looks like they are just wrapping up March filers. Maybe MnMs also have some updates to share. If they continue with this speed, you may have interview close to the end of 2016. By the way none of the March filers are IOE, they started filing of the new form after mid April. Good luck!

April filers with IOE numbers are getting interview scheduled notifications, and they did not get any inline notifications either. So hopefully we start seeing interview notifications pretty soon.

Fingerprints appointment letter received. Table updated.

Tried to do a walk-in for biometrics but it did not work! St.paul Center was booked due to upcoming holiday.

I'm going back on July 12th my regular appointment.

He did not ask why I was early, we arrived @ 9:15 am, my appointment was for 10:00 am. It seemed that as long as you had your appointment letter they let you go through. It was filling up as we were leaving @ 9:45. am.

Very nice staff at the St. Paul site. Nothing has changed on the USCIS site.

Went to St. Paul today for my biometrics appointment. It went really well, friendly staff. Since we live some distance away we got there 45 minutes early. They took my paperwork and sent me through. We were in and out within 20 minutes. Now to wait for the interview letter

I absolutely did not wait. I printed it out and took it with me.
