My sister and her husband are planning to sell their current house this week and soon they will be moving in with us and live with us temporary until they find a new house for themselves. Will that help if we four members can file I-864 along with my sister's I-130 petition using our home address as a C/O address?

Hello,
My Father just passed away and my Mother is alone in India with no one to take care of her. I have my US Citizenship interview in 2 weeks. My sister who also lives in same town is a US citizen. What is the best way/expedite process to bring my mom to US?

Got my approval letter today!! Yayyy!! Approval date was May 23. Go VSC Go!!

Just talked to USCIS customer service and they said that right now VSC is processing applications received in June 20 2012. And those who filed in August will hear or get notice within 60 days from now. They also told me that there should be no issues if I travel with extension letter and expired green card.
But I still hope and pray I get my GC soon before the trip.

Hope you all are praying for VSC to speed up the process. Anyways, our trip to India is drawing close. We will leave early June. I am still waiting for my green card to arrive. Is it okay to travel with extension letter? Or can I go ahead and call USCIS and ask them about my case updates?
Any opinions/feedbacks are welcome!!

We are planning for a trip outside the US next year in June. I wonder, if VSC will start approving the August filers by that time. This sucks!! Wake up VSC!!

Got done with my Biometrics today. In and out in 15 minutes. Now waiting for approval!!

I got one too in July. I used to live in Oregon, so CSC sent me reminder letter. Now I am in New Mexico and I filed it through VSC.

Ours took 24 days from NOA1 receipt date and we are in baltimore.
Hopefully and assuming, Philly office follows same trend, you weill get yours within a week.
This is just my observation. I think SunRay is in baltimore area and I think we have almost same trend.

The receipt date is 08/19/2011. Does that mean NOA1 date on the list?. You had put today's date, but today is when I received my NOA1...

Package reached them or not you can't find out. But there is a way to find out if the cashier's check was cashed. You would have to contact the bank from where you made the check and they generally have a number you call and enter your check ID or receipt ID and you know if it has been cashed.
If not then just wait for NOA
Still haven't received my NOA. Called my bank and they said that my check has not yet been cashed. Hope VSC received my package..

Hello Guys,
Hope all of the applications are going on smoothly. Just for your information, I mailed my I-751 on Monday, August 15 by first class mail and it won't give me delivery confirmation, so I am not able to find if VSC has received it or not. Secondly, I sent in my cashier's check, and I am also not able to find if it has been cashed out.
Any feedbacks are welcome...
