I called and got an interview date of October 5th. I felt bad for the rep, because I actually cried I was so happy lol...good luck to those still waiting!

Just called NVC today October 5th :-)

I'm waiting and hoping for october as well....called DOS today and they said my stuff is still at the NVC, same story yesterday when i called NVC....

I just called with some hope but nothing but the guy was helpful and not reading from a script for once :-)

I had a quick question and needed an opinion or help...I was wondering if this could be a potential problem....so when my husband was younger maybe 14 years old (he's now 28) his father (now deceased) tried to bring his sister and my husband to the US. They did the medical and in the interview they were denied as the informed his father he must work and prove he could support them in the US. once he did that they could approve him. His father did not do what they asked and they decided to stay living in their country. Could this be an issue for us? I don't think so because my husband wasn't denied for anything he did but I'm trying to stay ahead of the game. Thanks!

Chennai hasn't yet updated their web site with September list.

Santo domingo hasn't either. Last month they updated it after the start of august.....not sure why they can't get on any type of schedule....

if your husbands family has a computer have them sign up for a google email & google voice. it's free right now to call the US numbers....

You are right - I am still obsessed with September - have to move on to October. I tried calling DOS but the wait time is 15 minutes - can't wait at office. Which is the best time/ what time can be contacted/ .....! Appreciate details.

By the way, NVC says that they can't give the October date till 2 nd week of September - I don't think it is right, as I have run the timeline reports and saw September interview dates much before August first week. Any thoughts!

NavyK I just called as well the DOS and it's 15 minutes of annoying ringing so I wasn't about to wait. Any feedback from the board on the best time to call would be appreciated!

Also- i noticed that dates for September were given in july as well so I feel like the 2nd week of september isn't correct. I called NVC this AM and spoke to a guy I've spoken with before and he's always so helpful....i tend to get the most helpful people in the mornings...and he explained they try to give you a months notice and explained what seemed to be the continous scheduling idea.

It took me 3 weeks to get an interview date after our case was complete. KRubia, I called the DOS and specifically asked if DR was backed up with scheduling appointments and I was told yes. I'm not sure if that's still the case (or ever was), but I did notice that some people whose cases were complete a month or two before mine got interview dates a month after their case was complete. My interview date is 2 months after, so maybe they have slowed down some.

Hi Bocachicababe I noticed that but I also noticed some people had their case completed 4 days prior to mine got september dates and 7 days prior so i was hopeful...we will see :-)

sorry i'm bad...what is DOS and whats the number? thats what i love about calling you never get some one twice its always different.

OnMyWayID- congrats on the completion. I called in the AM and at night because I was told the same yesterday that they were still working on sept until the end of the week.

sizzle- do you know if this is for every consulate the continuous scheduling? The operator told me to call back next month....around the second week.

p.s. i don't mind beginning of october as well i just want to know because a month ago i purchased a flight in two weeks to see my husband for vacation and flight prices keep going up and up....

So I called today for my case to see if any progress was made and the operator told me September had been closed as of today and that I'd have to wait to check back the 2nd week of sept. to see if October is a possibility. Do you know if they do continuous scheduling as I noticed sometimes people receive their dates after this "2nd week" Thanks

I didn't submit photo copies only in the original I 130 petition and i sent the originals with the DS 230- didn't get an RFE. Keeping my fingers crossed for you

YAY congrats!!!! I'm crossing we both hear by end of the week regarding dates....

How do you know this? ours is in santo domingo...i'm not sure how busy it is.

I replied in the other thread but this is great. I spoke to someone at NVC regarding a false RFE i got Sunday & she told me it's complete and possibility for interview Aeptember if Santo Domingo has room for me :-)

Navy- I think it's possible. I called this morning asking about my RFE and she goes don't worry about it your case is complete!!!! and they will finish scheduling september interviews at the end of this week!!!!! Good luck today keep me posted!

I know i just didn't expect to get it days later since i got one on wednesday and today the list was sent on Sunday Morning....congrats on case complete Virginian61 !

today i opened my email to get my delayed RFE for the IV application....almost scared me but I think it's only for the entire IV application which the AVR says they received the response to their checklist so quite a delay....Hoping tomorrow is our day for those waiting!

mine was accepted and i typed everything but my signature and I didn't know about the blue ink so i used black.....but they said it was accepted. hope that helps

I typed everything and signed in black ink and everything was okay. just waiting on the DS 230 now
