Hi Everybody,
I have been living in the States for 1 year and an half and we just heard we might pcsing to Germany. I have my temporary green card and I was wondering if I' m gonna have any trouble to get the 10 years one. I called and they told me as long as I leave on base, it should not be an issue. The problem is that the waiting list to have a house on base is really long, so I'm kind of concerned.
is there anybody in the same case? Thank in advance for the help..

Hi everyone! Does anyone know a inexpensive civil surgeon in the San Antonio area? I got a RFE for my I-693 form. It looks like my doctor in Belgium did not fill out the form correctly ughh!
Thanks for your help

they told me the same too that the petition was sent raight to the embassy but was not true. It has to go to NVC first. It took a while before Nvc got it. Just be patient and call them everyday untill they tell you they got your case.

Hi,
I can't figure out how to add photos to the members albums here. I can see the existing ones from other members, but there's no link to upload my own photos. I tried to click Log In, but then I always get an error message.
What am I missing??
Thanks in advance!
You have to click on photos in your profile then you will see on the right upload a file on the right

Maybe the operator was new and just read the script? Plus I have a feeling that on NOA2 hardcopy from VSC, it's written "the petition was approved and forwarded to the Embassy", while on NOA2 from CSC, it says "the petition was approved. It will be sent to the NVC and then to the Embassy" (need more confirmations though), it's just a different wording but all petitions go to NVC first (theorically).
I would say, call NVC again, looks like you can have different answers from 2 operators. Just to see…
Thanks Dido yeah my fiance called today and they told him to call next week.. so I guess we have to wait again lol but I don t think that our petition went straigh to the embassy she was probably reading..
Hopefully I will have some good news soon!

From my timeline:
I-129F NOA2 : 2011-07-11
NVC Left : 2011-08-08
Consulate Received : 2011-08-11
Packet 3 Received : 2011-08-19
so another +-18 days to wait (and no need to call now)
Thanks Stefaan I will wait a few more days I just can't wait this process to be over!!

Hi everybody! Our petition has been approved on january 13th and NVC still haven't received our case. Is that normal? It was in vermont.. My fiance called Uscis and they said they sent our petition straight to the embassy because it s why it was written on it..but I tought it was really weird not going trough NVC. I don t know what to do nobody knows where our petition is...

Wow!!!! I called the Military Help Line Aug 29, 2011 about 10:00pm Kyrgyzstan time and asked about the qualifying factors for "expedited processing" I told them that I was on a military deployment in Kyrgyzstan and was due to leave in 2 months. I got a reference number from them over the phone. They submitted the request for expediting and explained to me that it may take 5 days for a response. Today Aug 31 2011 at 4:00am Kyrgyzstan time I received an email from USCIS that the "Expedite was approved! 2 hours and 15 minutes later...another email from USCIS...I-129f APPROVED!!!!!
Congratulations! So you must be deployed for an expited process? My fiance is us soldier and I was wondering if being military could help even you don t have to be deployed?

Tanks for the answer everybody!

change of address overseas how does it work?

Hi everybody,
we pcsed last october to Germany and I was wondering if anybody can help me with the all changes of address process.
I called the military helpline and they told me to send the ar 11 form, my husband orders my fingerprints, a green card copy and a copy of my husband id. I did that a month ago and still haven't received any notifications…how I'm supposed to know that my address was changed?
Does my husband had to change to send the i 865 too?
They also told me to send everything to the Lincoln Nebraska office but i'm starting to think that was not the good address since I haven't heard anything yet..
Can somebody help me I'm really confused and I don't want any trouble with uscis..
Thanks
