      They asked if I knew him and if I was given money by him. I explained our situation and told them that I had no longer had contact with him.

    Our application is being sent back to the United States. The Consular Officer believes the relationship was entered solely for the purpose of immigration. I am seeing a lawyer on Wednesday. We brought proof of relationship to the interview and sent lots of proof (I think) to in response to the 221G.

    My fiance is sending proof of relationship to Ankara tomorrow. Yay! Hopefully we will have good news in 2-3 weeks. Our Journey continues

    Metin had his interview today. Received 221g for more emails, pictures, phone log etc. He brought 3 pages of phones logs

      Don't worry. I know it is upsetting. I went thru the same experience with my husband after 3 months and 3 weeks, he got visa. if u see 1 month past send them email. Ankara embassy is good at it. if 2 months past, involved your congressman or senator. Good luck

      send it to them all papers they ask for. They will send visa after check or might keep it longer.
