Does anyone ever send and invitation letter to jamaica and family get a visa.or even if u kno anyone who hve done it before.I'm planin and sendin one for my neice who is 18 yrs old and my brother.I was gona let my lawyer type up the letter.pls let me kno how the process goes thaank u.

Hello guys I just went to take bck in documents at the Kingston Ja Embassy yesterday..Which

was a bluesheet follow up,the CO took all my paper work and also my passport and then send me to pay DHL.

he didnt say when he is mailin off my passport which I taught thats what they normally do.So anyone knows how

long it wld take them to send off visa pls chime in.thank u all for reading!!

OK thank u!! I was already in AP so now they finish AP and ask me to bring in new documents..so hope I can I dnt hvr to go bck into AP again.am ready to get my visa and go home.thank u so much.

From our experience it takes them a month to do everything. My fiance had to summit in proof of status for the co sponsor so I email the the documents an sent it express n the mail. A week after the interview they call him to come to embassy jan 3 to pay for dhl thing an bring in his passport.

would they take to issue Visa? I hve to drop off my medical.Ds230 etc in January and i was wondering how long after that wld i be able to get my visa..any help wld be greatful.thank u all!!

Jamaican AP is abt 4 mnts the most..As i said i just got out of it and it was 4 1/2 mnts..and i saw others from JA took

abt the same time or shorter..good luck!!

it happens a lot, unfortunately it is just a waiting game from here...just be patient and let them do their checks and soon you will have your visa. You can call dos for updates 202-663-1225 dial 1 then 0 to get to a visa specialist. They won't tell you much when you call, don't expect specific details or anything but you will know when it is cleared and when the visa has been issued...

take care and bide your time...(i didn't i tortured myself lol) mine lasted 2 months but our case was in egypt i don't know the average wait times for jamaica but i am sure you can find them here on the threads...

Well i feel ur pain!! my case was approved since July 8 2011 and everyday i think i was going MAD until friday nov 25..I got the call/email from kingston ja that the finish review my case.I was soooooooo happy!! an i waill pray for u..so it was 4 mnts of Ap for me.good luck..did u file a waiver?? u can email me private also.

Whenever i call the Embassy they said i hve to wait for a letter with the next step but its been now like 8 weeks since my approval

and get it approve? If so how long after the approval did the instruction letter take to come..I hve my waivers approve since july 8 and i still did not

recieve the instruction letter..i only got the approval letter since july.pls i need any help i can get and alos good luck to u all!!
