Green card in hand!! Yea!!! Good luck to all of you....it will happen soon!

Today I was checking our case status: Found the "Decision" was highlighted rather than "acceptance". It stated she will receive green card--I hope that is what this means! Yea! Can't help but be paranoid after 11 months of waiting!

At our recent Info-pass appointment, the officer stated our AOS application was sent to the New Orleans regional office on July 3rd for an appointment to be scheduled for an interview ( almost 11 months since we filed with NBC). We have not heard anything re. any appointment, so should I call the New Orleans office? How long would that usually take?

We filed for AOS on Sept. 17th. Received EAD card November 16th. Nothing since then! I had to see a local USCIS officer today to get a duplicate NOA I-797 on my AOS application that I never received to file for another EAD card since ours was due to expire Nov. 15th. The officer told me that our AOS application had been sent to the New Orleans field office and we were to be scheduled for an interview. No other news. Is this strange or not?

We must be the only ones left as September filers who have not received any info re. interview, etc.

We are still waiting for contact re. greencard. Nothing yet!

Have not received I-485 appoint letter yet! Customer service no help. Should I panic?

I have concerns. Sent my AOS forms (I-485, I-765, and I-131) September 17th and received NOA's for 765 and 131 but not for 485. Then received biometrics appt. letter for I-765 and I-485. Had case number for 485 but have still not received NOA. What should I do?

OK! So I received NOA's for 131 and 765 but not for I-485. Received appointment letter for biometrics for 485 and 765. Case number listed for 485 on the appt. letter but no 485 NOA yet.

I received two text messages but they both had the same case number....?

Do I need to be concerned with the possibility of denial due to the big age difference between my husband and I? >15 years...

We are very much in love and don't believe age is a reason to keep us apart...

Anyone have first hand knowledge on this topic?

I am a US citizen and applied for k1 visa via Juarez. Ther is an age difference of 38 years between my wife and I (I'm 70 & she is 31 yrs. old). No problems. No questions asked. K1 approved

My K1 packet is sealed but one corner of the enveloped as was given to me has the corner opened to show the corners of the pages. Any one else have that?

My fiancee will be going to Houston for POE on July 14th. Getting married August 25th! Congratulations to all of you!

39 Yr. age difference---Me 70 and her 31. No problems with K1 visa. Maybe at AOS interview!

Interview at Juarez today and K1 approved!

Yea! My fiancee had an appointment at 7:15 this morning in Juarez for her K1 interview and walked out at 9:45 AM with a smile on her face. Approved without any hassel!!!! We are so happy! Thanks Visajourney.com and everyone that added comments. Good luck to our fellow October 11 friends.

There is a drop box with answers to select re. who the petitioner represents, father, grandfather, mother, sister, etc. No where does it refer to fiance or fiancee. it does have spouse listed. you must fill this it before u can finish. what to do?

well after u get ur nvc it take about a month to about 2 months for u to get ur packet 3 from juarez. i got mine about 3 weeks and half after i got my nvc letter. it just depends. about normal time is about a month to 2 months. After that u can actually scheduled ur interview right away. When i began to schedule my fiances they had one opening stop for the next but we decided to wait about a month to make our interview to get everything ready and for our daughter to feel confortable with my mother in law since she'll be watching her while were in juarez. hope that helps. the best ting u can do is just get everything ready if u want the interview right away.

How long is it taking from embassy receipt of packet form NVC until interview is possible?

Anyone have recent updates on interview schedules for Juarez for K1 visa?

Prayer does work!!!! Just found out that NVC sent our 129F petition to embassy yesterday. SO, being told your file is in AP at NVC may just mean they have not quite finished everything!

Oh, no! Received NOA2 on January 27th so I waited a week to call the NVC.Called and talked to operator who said they had my record and gave me my case number, but then he said it is in "AP". My spirit is so down right now. Any one had that experience recently?

YEA! Received notive NOA2 approved on 1/27. I had been checking my USCIS case but always said "not in system". But today, had notice of 129F approval on 1/27!!!!! YEA. Good luck to all of you!
