I wasn't able to get copies of my tax history and didn't have to file 2 years. I sent a letter of explanation and it was fine. Have him attach a document where it states why he didn't need to file and that can help too

Yes my friend...the consular officer will ask for the latest tax returns of your fiance.you will not be in trouble if your fiance will be there in the time of your interview because the consular won't be asking a lot of questions about your relationships..like what I encountered,I've done my interview in just 2 minutes then I was approved!But good luck to you my friend.Just pray that everything will be alright!Goodluck to you!

You could call for him and get the tax transcripts easily via telephone. There is a number I saw posted on here. All you require is his SSN and select options on the telephone. It would send the tax return to the address it was filed from. Of course, he would have to have already filed his 2010 taxes.

but he made a letter thats saying (he do not have to file his federal taxes until he return from combat ) his final tax return will not be completed until a later date.

Packet 3 is an envelope sent from the US embassy to the beneficiary of the K1 visa containing a checklist of items needed for the interview, forms that must be filled out, and other instructions. Packet 3 is usually received within a couple of weeks of the embassy receiving the k1 petition from the NVC. In packet 3, there will also be a 'notice of readiness' which you will have to mail back to the embassy when you are ready for an interview date to be scheduled. Hope this helps!

Yeah my fiancee sent them email yesterday and we got thier reply today,, they told us that they already sent our packet to the USEM, but the USEM didnt email or send something to us:( so i will call them on monday,, we got our NOA2 LAST JULY 26

We placed them by the order that the interview letter had them in. My husband's interview is tomorrow.

did u submit a detailed summary of ur story when u filed ur application? thats what we did..we included our short story when we did submit our application at USCIS. we did pass on it and got our NOA2 so maybe u dont need it at all..but if u have doubts better to make one and bring it in ur interview..anyways what's ur timeline now? u got ur NOA2?
