I am planning to send I-130 forms too for my mom but I am a lil hesitant coz her marriage contract has a typographical error. Example her lastname is Belagio in her marriage contract but her birth certificate is Belayo and that last name in her BC matches in Her passport.

One more question. Do you need to send all these requirements or this will be to follow? Thanks for response.

  3. You will get good news from St. Lukes. If St. Lukes would have called you before the eight week period had ended, then it would have been bad news. However, since you made it through the entire time without a phone call from St. Lukes, then it will be good news. :star:

Thank you so much tahoma for your response.. I haven't any call from them until my 8th weeks.. I will update y'allfor the result, my flight is on tuesday day i might be there by wedenesday instead..

  4. Hello people here in VJ, I have the same issue about my medical, on monday is my 8th week im getting nervous coz when i called the st.lukes this morning they told me that the result is ready and i can go back on monday to get it.. They don't tell me what to bring unlike the other experience I have read here that they have to bring their passport, and stuff unlike mine, the lady said on the other line 'yeah u have the result already u can go back here on monday morning' end of the conversation... I keep on praying and im not losing hope, i just keep the faith to believe that I will hear the good news which is NEGATIVE result for my cultured sputum.. wish me luck guyz...

  5. Thank you so much everyone for the response.. I and my husband will be together in an hour, I guess I have nothing to worry about the sputum test anymore, since I have read in the forum that most of the sputum test are negative. My history was I had PTB minimal 2004 treated for 6 months plus 3 months med maintenance till i recover completely, then i had an xray 2007 scar is still visible but in my APICOLORDOTIC XRAY it was clear.. All I need to do is Constant prayer for negative result... I believe with God there is nothing impossible ;)

    GODBLESS US ALL :)

  6. thank you so much for the info.. may I ask if how much exactly you paid when you change your name?... we are still on the process of our visa, so do you think it will take some more time for us?..

    hi clairy08,

i am a filipina ,married with american guy too,i entered the us on k-1 visa we got ,married here in the us last july 23 and i had exactly the same problem like yours,by the way ive done all those terrible history there in philippines while doing the paper works,i'll try to share you a lil glimpse of our case,i apply for marriage license here in san bernardino county and they include all my maiden name and last name, when we got our marriage certificate they included all my name and maiden and its kinda confusing like you said we used there in philippines put down your last name(maidean name)and then pick our hub last name to be our last name(married)now here's my fear what if i will apply passport there to renew my old one's then ofcourse i need a marriage with my name in it and they will see all my name and im sure it'll be more confusing to them, last night i couldnt slept so i talked to my hubby regarding this matter then we made a call to the county where we gather our marriage certficate and they said they cannot fix it thier advice is go to court and rechange my name into first name, middle name and hubby last name, instead of including my maiden name(single)so here's the situation they will change my name to the court, now i will fill up those forms for adjust of status and they said that it must exactly on what is writen on my marriage certficate it must be accurate,so yes very confusing we spend money to fix my name, bcoz it must accurate to all the documents, good luck to you guys, things is complicated sometimes, take a break and try to gather information,,,

    femloveron :hehe:

  7. Good day everyone,

I am a filipina wife of american and our visa is on the process, i wonder that we filipino are using our middle name, after i filled out forms for cr1 and my husband send the papers to the NVC they printed out my name with my middle when i was single and surname of my husband, i wonder how complicated it might be coz EXAMPLE, my fullname is CARLA VERGARA DELAPINA, and if we are married in a person like JORDAN TAYLOR HANSON, here in philippines our name will change as CARLA DELAPINA HANSON, but there in the United states they are still including the middle name which is VERGARA, and it became CARLA VERGARA HANSON, but it is really sound complicated when i will show my passport name into CARLA DELAPINA HANSON... is there anybody there who experienced this? coz I am confused now..
