  1. WEll here goes nothing. My future wife got a K1 and came over and had to return because of a family problems. Now all this is cleared up and wants to return and she left before going thur the proper channels. Now if she wants to return want has to be done and now the K1 she has is good until the end of August of this.Any feed back would help.

  2. Well today I had a InfoPass appointment to address a typo by CSC on the RFE they sent me.I was called up and they help me address this problem and how to clear it up I hope. This is what took place the officer put in a email into the CSC office to explain the problem I had. After she told me they had to reply by the 15th of Feb.She said they would contact me to tell me how to move forward.I also asked why they were asking for information I had already sent. Her reply was "I think they may have lost some of your papers".So that is what took place today at the USCIS office today does this make sense to anyone out there.

  3. Possibly, though I do no tthink it is such a big issue, seems more like a typo. Did you send evidence intially?

Ask at the infopass appointment (local offices have nothing to do with the petition process but they can check with someone easier than you can)

My suggestion would be to comply with the proof of citizenship and repeat sending the evidence of meeting offered PLUS an explanation that you are NOT Dxxxx.

I also suggest you do not post your full names in public forums, just use XXXXXX's or something. If backed into a corner I say my wifes name is "Alla Smokinhotnikova"

Thanks your the one I was looking for the answer. I sent everything they are asking for I don't know why they are asking for it again.

  4. Well here we go.Sorry for the grammer if it's wrong.

I got a RFE and here what it says:

US Citizenship:As evidence of United States citizenship the petitioner Pxxx Axxxx must submit a legible copy of a)certificate issused by a civil authority that shows the birth was in the United States;b)unexpired passport issued for a full ten years period to a citizen of the United States;c)a statement executed by a United States consular officer certifying the pertitioner to be a United States citizen and the bearer of a currently valid United States passport;d)the front and the back side of his/her Certificate of Naturalization or Certificate of Citizenship, properly signed;or e)his/her Department of State Form FS-240,Report of Birth Aboard of a Citizen of the United States.

The Question on this part is do I send in all or just on and yes I'm a U.S Citizen with passport.

Now this is the crazy part there is a name on this paperwork that I don't know it reads as following:

Requirements that petitioner and the beneficiary have met in person:It must be established that the petitioner,Dxxxx M. G. Exxxxx and the beneficiary Txxxxxxx Sxxxxxxxx, have met in person and/or have been in each other's physical presence at any time during the two years immediately preceding the filing of this petition.

I don't know who Dxxxxx M.G.Exxxx is?????because my name is all over this paperwork could this be a error on there part?

Any help would be great here.

  5. They ask for what you did not send the first time. Varies. Trying to guess is pretty futile but if you go through the copy of the package you sent them and check it against the instructions you may be able to determine what you forgot.

Thanks for all the input here it's great

  6. Well I have gotten a RFE notice via text and email today.I'm waiting for the hard copy to find out what they need.I was just wondering what is the norm they may ask for?A little insight would be nice.

    Thanks,

  7. Hey VJ's hey a little question here if anyone can help(Gary). How long past the 6 month mark do you wait until one really push the USCIS.I know I have call and they give those non-direct answers. Now if someone starts bring in the heavy hitters does this cause problems for the the filers? Why can't they just give a direct answer when someone calls.

  8. I have notice that not many Ukainian visa have been approve in the past few months. Is there not many people coming from there? Or is it just they way it happens to fall this month.I'm still waiting I will hit the 5 month mark on Dec.27 right in the heart of the holidays. This takes the holiday cheer right out of you. Thanks USCIS.

  9. As has been explained to you before, it is not hard. They do it in 20 minutes or so. There are a LOT of petitions and other work ahead of yours. A LOT. They "check you out" in less than one minute, unless they run into possible matches on "bad guy" lists (for lack of better term)

They use hi-tech automated and computerized records systems and have everything they need in seconds.

As to your other question. Yes and no. Bear in mind that two adjudicators visit this house every week at least. I am not guessing, they are personal friends of Alla. They have expected production "quotas" BUT they are required to process each completely, they DO NOT approve them in order to get a cetain number done, no. 20-24 per 10 hour day is about normal, could be more, could be less. Unless it is consistently less than the goal there are no consequences.

they get holidays, vacations, sick days etc just like other humans.

No sick days allow until they are finish. You sure are on top of all topics here and very helpful and I sorry for the same question and thanks for keeping track.Happy Holidays.

  10. I know this as been the asked time and time again, but I would sure like to know why it's so hard to process a little paperwork.I know that the goverment wanted to check you out they can do it in a few moments. Why don't they apply this to this process there will be allot more happy folks. Now for the question do these people and any numbers to meet or deadline they have to keep?

What happen to high tech and trying to help your fellow man.

  11. No, it is not me.

Actually I have never looked at it. Just read about it, I know how it works, I never used it. I keep my VJ timeline up to date because it is part of being in the VJ community but I do not check the progress on any timeline system

Well thanks again,I will keep my timeline up when I get new information.I can only hope I made the nice list and get some holiday news.

  12. Well I know I have asked this before put this question still confuses me.Here it is again sorry for the repeat The date the is posted in the time line.Where do they get that information and if it a guess why do they post it.This is the Igor's time line where it says processing July whatever. This is what I'm talking about.

How about some insight here PLEASE.

  13. Igor's list is actually fairly accurate (when members update their timelines), but it's truly impossible to tell what actual date USCIS is procesing because only a fraction of petitions filed nationwide compromise Igor's list.

Best bet is to plan on 5-6 months and if NOA-2 arrives quicker then you're ahead of the game.

Thanks for your insight and I'm pushing the 5 month mark come Dec,3 this site does help allot.

  14. I have notice that viewing my time line it changes with the day of the week. Now I know that it will change when people update there information pretty easy to understand. The question I have is this how accurate is this Igor's time line and has anyone NOA2 been close to this? I also would like to know how he or she knows what day that the USICS is working on.

  15. Alla has two friends working there as adjudicators, one of them has a husband there in a management position and Alla herself does interpretations for USCIS in the St Albans office, including for the Officer that did her AOS interview. Pinned topic at the top of this page.

Pinned topic at the top of page how does one do this?

  16. there is,go to guides,on the rightside you see, other inportant things to know, click on quansters and answers, that,it's a former uscis adjudicator her name is huskerkeiv her story,IT'S A LOT TO READ,let me know what you think after you read it.

Well you can tell he worked for the government answer are full and all round the subject. It was a good read I will agree on that but its four years old and everyone knows how the government changes things.I thank you for the information and every little bit of information help gets by.

  17. I been wondering if anyone from the inside of USCIS has every post any information to this site.If they have did they post how the system may work from there point of view.I know this is a long shot but just thinking out loud about the whole process.I really don't think that someone would say anything.I also wonder if they work there do they get special treatment. If someone on the inside would write a book on "HOW IT REALLY WORKS" it would be a best seller.

  18. Does anyone have any thoughts on how or why they are processing August and have not finished with JULY's people? Now this is for the CSC I have check on the process timeline from time to time and they have already started with August filers. Now i know that the timeline is a big guess and not a very good thing to count on but what else do you have to go off of?I have checked my profile on the government site and it has not been touched and I know that it can get process and no updates can be posted. Is there any order to this whole process or is it just the luck of the draw?

Any feed back would be great here .

    Thanks,

  19. what is evident here more than anything is that you have spent a lot of time and have nothing but more questions which will not be answered. I suggest you stop, seriously. You will get your NOA2 in the mailbox.

I cannot tell you why someone would get an approval in 14 days unless it was a military expdeite. Barring that it is either...

    1. An error in input dates, either the NOA1 or the NOA2

    2. A fluke. A petition file got mixed up and handled before others. A contracted adjudicator walked in and was given a recent box of files instead of an old one by mistake? A box got put on the wrong place on the shelf? A new adjudicator started and was assigned a new box instead of an old one? Adjudicators were moved from one department to another and somone was assigned a new box instead of an old one.

It would be silly to assume that an agency staffed with a bunch of humans does not make mistakes or that they maintain some sort of ridgid order of files so that they are never done out of sequence. It would be silly to think that even anyone there knows why...if it is true. In scientific terms this case would be called an "anomoly" and disregarded.

It would also be silly to assume that there is anything you can do to duplicate this anomoly, whatever it is, for yourself.

You sent in a petition. Right now petitions are getting adjudicated in 5-7 months and visa issued on 6-10 months. Planning on anything else is likely to result in disappointment.
