If u r current for March then u must immediately contact Mumbai Embassy and NVC as well......Regarding the list for Appointment schedule for march they have published they will update it later. Coz i am scheduled for march and i hav received I/L on 7th Mrng......but my case in not listed in appointment schedule. So, they will surely update that list. Another thing is that if NVC says that visa numbers r not available for ur case, then they might haven't schedule ur interview for march, may be u get an appointment in April. This is b'coz there might not be enough slots of appointment for March at Mumbai Consulate. So, they must hav not scheduled ur appointment even if u r current in March. same thing applies to sweetymistry also. But i still recommend u to call mumbai consulate's support contractor ustraveldocs at their helpline number and also send email them and give ur case number details and ask whether they have scheduled ur interview or not...Best Luck

Guys I know it is really frustrating....

But mumbai embassy sometimes do update the interview slots .. In December it was updated on Dec 18 again...

So don't loose hope. I know it is wiered and It just had to happen now when we are current. On March 1st or before we should know it, as legally we are considered current on March 1st 2013.

I am going to call them now on March 1st 2013. And If i get the interview letter before that I would let youall know.

As of now think about people who are not current and still waiting.. and make yourslef little relax by think that way lolz. Thats what I am trying.

Just called NVC for I/L and said you should call on March 1st.

That is the date when you would be current. Right now we don't have visa available

Even when Visa Bulletin for March 2013 is 22 Nov 2010

So not happy.. wonder why its taking so much time this month...

Interviews are scheuled to the cases who had their cases completed FIRST... regardless of the priority date. So if the embassy/consulate has slots to fit they would if scheduled if not then they'll be set for the following month. Keep in mind that F2A cases are not the only cases the consulate sees and IR/CR1 , K1/K2 visas are given interview priority - this means they are scheduled 1st.

Jesus help me lord.. Wish they send at-least the I/L .. even though its not in march but in April.. but atleast send and let know that it would be in april. Than there would be much more relief..I wish I can give them this suggetion.

I m so not happy... I called NVC today.. And the CR told me they are working on cases prior to 22 Oct. She rudely told me that for your case the visa number is not available yet. After waiting almost 45 minutes and the machine telling me that NVC takes personal attention for all the calls. The CR on the phone didn't even greeted me, the direct question was Case number please!!

I am in line... Would let you guys know as soon as I get I/L!! I had been quite b'coz had been patiently waiting. So guys I m also positive that we should get interview letters from Monday. Crossing my fingers !!

Guys new here, need help.

So My PD is Oct2710(17 yrs old) and my brother(19 yrs old) is Nov1210. My mom said she filed it the same day but the PD's are different. Will we have a different interview schedule date? March is very near.

Since many of you are familiar with the prediction game, can anyone guess the week and month our interview is going to be? And let's say we passed the interview and medical, what's next? Do we have to wait for a couple of months for the visa? Once we get the visa it's green light already, isn't it?

Any tips for the interview and medical would be gladly appreciated! Thank you. God Bless.

You might have a 10 day gap between yours and your brother PD. You should get your interview in march.. not sure about the week. If visa number is available you will get your passport with visa stamp in 10-15 business days.

So just relax and start getting all papers. I Have started doing my tax document for 2013 and 2012. As they would surely ask for tax documents. My case is completed and have submitted all original documents.

3) My Greencard photocopy

4) Passport size pictures.

5) Pictures & Greeting Cards, Phone call logs, Facebook profile screen printout showing marriage status, joint bank account document.

6) Tax document 2012,2013 as my interview is in march.

7) New PCC

8) Photo copy of I130, I864, DS230.

Original birth certificate, Marriage certificate are already with them.

Anything I am missing on documents?? Please advise

My prediction for Feb 2013 is 22nd Oct or 1st Nov.

That what even i predict for November 2010 PD's. My hubby would be current in March or April 2013. Patiently waiting!! At least VB is moving forward and this time VB says four to six weeks of movement for next bulletin. Stay in touch and let us know when you get I/L in March or April.

Usually tax documents are send with I-864 Affidavit of support. And If you have already submitted I-864 and your case is completed than you have to submit the recent tax documents for current year at time of interview.

Hi Everyone,

I had a question My priority date is Oct 5th 2010 and my case is not completed yet me and my husband are still collecting docts and we are doing all this through a lawyer.

we did submit my originals to the lawyer recently and were almost going to submit the form online when the lawyer realized that on my birth certificate my father last name is missing and only his middle name is there which is nowhere on my passport or other docts.

So my lawyer as asked to get the birth cert amended and i am here in Vancouver and i was born in India ..i am not sure how long this process will take and wen will i get the birth cert amended as the process is really slow there. and i am just 2 or 3 mnths away from my priority date to be current . My case is not even completed..

Has anyone gone thru this like me. I am so worried , how will i manage to do all this last minute. and plus i guess it takes lot of time for case to be completed.

Can someone pls address my concerns..

I guess Dec 2012 priority will move until Aug 22nd 2010 but i hope it goes even further than what i am guessing.

My mom had the same problem... She didn't had Birth Certificate at all. Ma grand Parents lost the certificate. So my uncle just asked for a new copy and they issued it in 2 weeks. May need some money to process things little bit faster. So don't worry!! Even though you might not have the documents ready they give you time after the interview to submit the documents.

In our case they asked for colored copy of naturalization certificate of my uncle, who petitioned for us. And we submitted that document after the interview. So Chill

And as far as I can think of if your passport has the same information as that of your birth certificate there should not be any problem..

Im f2a petitioner. My case is already completed with 2010 tax return and waiting to be current soon. I have made a less income in 2011 wich is below the poverty line, and my interview would be somewhere in Nov or Dec 2012. Do I need to prepare the new affidavit of suport together with co-sponsor, or just co-sponsor to prepare one alone for the interview. PD August 9th 2010

I think the Affidavit of support is valid for the year in which you filed..

But they may still ask for current year tax return... You can also show your bank balance if you don't have enough income.

If that is not enough at the time of interview they would ask for extra sponsor.. Up till than just wait for them to ask & just have the I864 ready for co-sponsor or Sponsor at your end. And give them at time of interview when asked..

for those who's NOT aware of getting cheap airfare ticket.

here a little info to save you guys money..instead of booking your flight/your fiance flight thru online....go google your local travel agent call them OR go ask your fiance/husband to go to a filipino/asian market to get an filipino news paper (usually they have some list of travel agent) ask for "FIRST TIME IMMIGRANT RATE" therefore you will get some short of discount for your airfare ticket.(usually under $720) :thumbs:

Don't Freak Out!! I have one of my relative working at Embassy and they were all sent for some sort of training to United States.

They Returned back on the 4th Sep!! So May be that's the reason of the delay!!

B'coz most of the people were on training and top of that their was a long weekend.
