hi..i also have the same case..i have a daughter from my past marriage but my daughter is using my surname and not her father so they said i dont need any consent from my ex husband just becoz my daughter's surname is not his..and now our marriage is annulled..but my ex husband have his signature on my daughter's birth certificate..my daughter got her passport already w/o any consent from her father just becoz i went with her when she applied for it..so maybe my case would give u some info too..

hi...i just only want to correct..u know after receiving the NOA2 u will get a new number written on that notice..it says there beneficiary number..thats the new number u have to tell to NVC when u inquire about ur application and not the case number u were using everytime ur checking ur case status..maybe u need to check again ur NOA2..read it carefully..u will see there's the beneficiary number..that's what i know..becoz we were informed that we need to tell them that number when we inquire at NVC..

how many days would it takes sending the approval notice to NVC ..and then sending it to the embassy here in hongkong?
