    hi everyone! i'm from phils but working here in hongkong..we filed our fiance visa and i did put on the application to send the papers in hongkong. question is..do i need to get NBI still in phils or just police clearance here in hongkong? another question is..do i need to go back to phils after i got my visa here in hongkong b4 i go to california? need some advice guys..hope i can hear some from you..thanx..

      hi, you did not have to go back to the Philippines to get the NBI clearance, you can get the application form at the consulate, they will take your fingerprints, i just don't know how much will it cost you but its better than going back and apply here.

      the result will be mailed directly to where you live in HK. That is what i did when i applied for the NBI clearaance when i was there. Good luck.
