  1. ok so from my understanding is if your apply for the Form I-485 which is the AOS you need to have an medical exam done.

So my question is: if my fiance entered the US on a k1 visa and did his medical exam in Cuidad Juarez( expect the vaccination). Would he have to take a other medical exam???

i had read that he doesn't have to take one if Form I-485 is filed within one year of your overseas medical examination.

    Is this true???

  2. Dear visa journey family

So yesterday my fiance went and applied for his SSN. And we were told that it will arrive within 2 weeks.

Now my question is when can he apply for a drivers licence here in Arizona?

Can K1 visa holder apply for US driving license before getting married OR better to do so after married and have the green card?

    Thank you.

  5. So his boss made him stay? Did the boss know his visa will expire?

Well obviously uscis approved the petition, you just have be clear on all possible questions.

One thing they might ask is why didnt he just pick up leave and leave his boss behind.

my finace went to go help since he wasnt going to be doing anything in mexico with the cattle since it was raining a lot that year. so my fiance went to help him and his wife cause they had many doctor appiontments

  6. I think from a logical standpoint the consulate might scrutinize a 2 month vacation. Was he working or studying in the US?

Well omit studying. But you have to be ready with a good answer. I wish luck.

he was just visiting family and fixing his car and waiting on his boss. Since the man he works for in mexico is elderly he took him to see his family in tucson and the stay was longer then he thought. then his car got messed but he has a letter from his boss.

  7. Im soooo nervous!! we have two more days for the day that we have been waiting for, for soooooooooooooo long!!!

what do u guys think his chances are of being denied??

we've known each other since 2007

he have a one year old daughter

i go to mexico every 2 months so he can see her

never had any problems with the law here in mexico

the only thing thats has us nervous is that in 2009 my fiance went to tucson with his tourist visa and he went to vacation and stayed 4 about 2 months because his car got messed and was waiting for the parts. and border portal stopped him and saw he didnt have permission to take longer then 3 days so they took his visa and sent him back.they gave him a punishment of a year and a half. after that time he was able to apply for a visa again. but they didnt give him no paper work or nothing.

HE HAS ALREADY COMPLETED HIS PUNISHMENT SINCE MARCH OF 2010

  8. did the physician at the exam give your fiance any advice about seeing his own doctor??

no they just gave it back to him. during the exam he said that the doctor told him everything looked great. i googled the black holes and its says there gas bubbles in the stomach but i think his just over reacting.

  9. Depends what happened on the first and second deportation. Usually when you are deported the first time you are given a ban and told not to return or face serious consequences. The fact that he came back after being deported could be very serious. We really need more details about this before we can advise.

the first time he was deported we was deported for 5 years because he was using his brothers passport. then he came back in to the united states and the second time the dui and was given 10 years
