Although it sounds like the NVC is another headache after the long wait at the CSC, I had a couple questions as I was preparing the I-864 form. If I already filled the regular I-864, but qualify for the EZ, should I switch to it or does it matter? Another question I had, for anyone else in the NOA2 stage, do we just fill out "None" for the Alien Registration number? I don't think we have anything except a USCIS Receipt Number currently. Lastly, question 21, part c, says if you are currently married, enter "1" for your spouse. However, it says do not count anyone twice, and I already counted my spouse as the primary immigrant. Very stupid questions I'm assured, but hoping for some help!
To make it short:
1) If I filled I-864 already but qualify for I-864EZ, do I need to switch?
2) In the NOA2 phase of the IR-1 visa, is the Alien Registration Number "None"?
3) Even though I'm married, do I put a 0 in question 21 part c if my spouse is whom the affidavit is for?
Thanks so much. I apologize for any repeat questions in other posts, had no luck going a few pages into the forums again.

They have been on June 16 since before Thanksgiving in November. :\

Not sure which date I am, but the gov't site says the 8th, my senator replied back and said it was the 9th..so it's one of those two! My senator replied and I received the letter today...and got no where. The USCIS said it was still within processing time..though I am a day from the 170 mark. Has anyone called recently to check the current processing priority date? The last 10 times I called it was June 16...and it sounds as though that has gone back since Thanksgiving...
It's so frustrating how slow they have become! Financial hardship and loss was "an understanding" they were familiar with and will do their best to keep things going forward. Right.. If you're not in the military you're SOL on expediting.

So after the 1-130 is approved you get an interview at the consulate a month later correct? and then you are approved for the cr1/ir1 within a few days and given 6 months to get to America?
We are wanting to go to America a little bit before December 13 because that is when my wifes New Zealand work permit expires.
We are going to be filing our i-130 middle of February so technically speaking if USCIS is fast tracking overseas petitioners we could have our interview around march/april and have to leave NZ september/october which is a couple months sooner than we would like.
On the other hand if they are not fast tracking and we apply later then we will miss December.
A bit of a conundrum.
Well, my NOA1 date of my I-130 is August 9th...and I haven't heard a word back from the CSC (Wife is in NZ). Unless you are being deployed via military, an expedite is very unlikely. It's coming up on the 5 1/2 month mark without a NOA2 and calling the CSC and state senators have gotten me no where. You need to file this ASAP and hope you can make it by then(if somehow early you can push the interview date back). My wife and I were hoping she'd be here by now, and it's looking like a good 9-10 month turn around from NOA to POE, IF they start moving through the visas now. I wish I knew how so many people are able to get through the CSC I-130's in 2-4 weeks.

My wife received this today and she had requested it on Jan 3 and this paper was dated Jan 11. What does this entail? We will be expedited or we have to wait?
How did you file a service request? When I call the CSC and ask them for a service request some non-English speaking agent tells me something along the lines of.. "Estimate 5 month, need wait longer a bit" I had to ask him to repeat and he said the exact same...fragment. Just wondering how you filed the request so I can get the same automated bogus response.
Thanks for the help!
When I call them tomorrow and they tell me June 16th for the..8th time?...I'm going to ask if they have seen the movie ground hog's day and let them know that this isn't a movie, and June 16th doesn't repeat over..and over..and over...

You know when that would have been funny... 120 days ago. Or if CSC was saying anything but "Piss off, we're processing 16June" which they've been saying now for three months.
I asked a lady at the CSC today..."How long does it take to get past the June 16th filers?"
Her reply: "I can't see it taking more than another month or two"
Me: "So two months per day, does that mean I can expect my processing time to be in January of 2021?"
Lady: "I don't know."
It's so hard to be nice on the phone sometimes...

Actually, they've been reporting that date now for at least three months now...
That is ridiculous. I guess the way to go is to find some way to expedite it. Don't know how and have no idea how long this will take. It's so frustrating. I've tried going through all the automated options and only find my status (which hasn't changed), and told to visit the gov't website...how do you get to the June 16th date being processed via phone?
Little off topic but not I guess...any advice on how long to wait to submit a service request? I'm thinking of sending a privacy act release form to my state senate tomorrow, but wasn't sure when to submit a service request to the USCIS. Thanks for any suggestions!

Sadly, there seems to be no possible way to actually speak to someone at CSC. They've engineered the system quite well to prevent exactly that. What you've been doing so far is about the only way. As to making an INFOPASS appointment, you can do that online at USCIS' website. If you do so, don't expect miracles. However, it is frankly something to do while you wait and may remind them that you're highly interested in what happens. Contacting Senators and Representatives have had about the same results so far. However, I wouldn't call any of it a waste of time and I'll be calling USCIS back again tomorrow.
Your country flag in the forum says you're SO is from New Zealand, but your timeline says Armenia. I'm curious as to which it is.
It's definitely New Zealand, Auckland area. I have changed that Armenia error in the timeline twice now lol...I'll try to change it again. Guess it can't hurt to contact senators and representatives since it has hit the 5 months. Thanks for the quick reply and I will be joining you in that USCIS call! Haha

They were still giving the previous date the last time I called. I'll be rattling their cage again sometime next week, probably Monday at this rate. I'll post up whatever they say.
Odd thing, they seem to be or are at least acting completely unaware of places like VJ. When I tell them about such things, they just act all dumb. The lady I talked to at my INFOPASS meeting was the same way. She had no clue how I could be in contact with so many other people in the same situation.
What number do you call to get a hold of someone from the CSC to ask after it reaches the 5 month point? The only way I was able to reach a person (non-automated) was saying there was a problem with my forms. Thanks for any help to begin my journey of harassing

Thanks for the reply!
Just to make sure, did he put a 0 in part C? Thanks again! I just feel strange putting a 0 when it says to put a 1 if married
