  1. I have been put on Oath Scheduling queue since Sep/02/2011, I scheduled an Info-Pass

at the Charlotte USCIS to inquire about my oath letter. I went to the Info-Pass today.

The officer checks his PC, and goes in the back after asking me to have a seat. After 5 minutes

he comes back and asks me if "I will be available next Thursday, Oct/20/2011"

I, said " SURE" , and he hands me N-445 "Notice of Naturalization Oath Ceremony"

for that day. I was so happy, and got carried away/ I told the officer " I LOVE YOU" (L)

    OOPS

  3. It has been 90+ days since my interview in the St Paul office, which I passed, and still no word from USCIS. I tried contacting the Senators for more info and I still heard nothing back. Is it worth writing a letter to the IO who conducted the interview? Apparently (according to the customer service line) I have to wait for 120 days before a service request can be made! I am frustrated and confused!

    Hello Sherifeg,

My N-400 application was under supervisior review for about 73 days!

I had my interview on June/13/2011, in Charlotte,NC. The interviewing officer could not make a decision,

and refered it to a supervisior. On August /25/2011. my online status have changed to "Supervisior Review Completed"

On the same day I called USCIS 800#, and was informed that the supervisior approved my case on Aug/25/2011.

On Sep/02/2011, my online status have changed to" On Oath Scheduling Queue".

During that time span I made an e-request {found at the USCIS website},

I, also called USCIS 800#, and spoke to a second tier officer, and asked him to a send a

inquiry to Charlotte USCIS offfice. A week after that i got a generic pc printed letter from

Charlotte USCIS with the same message " CASE UNDERR SUP REVIEW", but a week

after that letter my online status changed to "SUP REVIEW COMPLETED"

I had a feeling the above steps helped accelerate my static case!

I know exactly how you feel, the waiting puts a heavy toll on you :crying:

At the end I am sure you will get a closure with a happy end

Really there are so many variables that can put a constraint on any application,

such as the USCIS office location, the number of application handeled, the

efficiency of that office<different offices have different operating procedures>

Keep your chin up, and I hope you will hear something soon.

  4. Hello Friends at Forum:

This is my first post at this forum. I applied for Citizenship (N 400) on the basis of my US Citizen Wife. After the fingerprints I had received a Yellow Letter. Now Three months have passed since I received the yellow letter and I have NOT yet received the Interview Letter.

Yellow letter only asked me to bring the Sate Issued Photo ID and the online case status shows that Since July first week my cae is in line for the interview.

I am very worried right now. Can anybody shed some light on it. Is there anybody else in this boat or I am the only one.

Any Sincere feedback/advice/information will be highly appreciated.

    Thanksssssss :innocent:

    Hello And Welcome,

I would make an info pass at your local USCIS office to speak to an officer in person

    ,and would call

USCIS @(800)375-5283 to inquire about the status of your interview.

    Best of luck.

Woohoo! I'm officially a USC! About darn time and a nice present for the 7th wedding anniversary (coming in October).

    Thanks for your support, guys!

The ceremony was nice. I got there about 12.30, an officer started explaining rules and checking if everyone had the letters filled out and green cards ready about 12.50. They started calling names at 1.10, and the actual ceremony began at 1.45. We were done by 2.15. I waited in line to update my SS status. Keeping my old card:) The election people were not there, so I'm gonna have to go and register at the election board. Didn't have time to file for the passports. Didn't get to take a picture with the judge, he left while I was dealing with SSA. Oh well.

There was about 45 new citizens there. They did not call out the countries, so i have no idea how many people were from a certain place. Definitely most were Latin American, at least half a dozen was named Martinez  (not related). I think I saw two more former-USSR people, not sure if they were from Russia.

My two older sons also became citizens, a year to the day after getting their green cards.

Anyway, I'm very happy. Probably excited, too, but too tired to feel it

Oh, and a fun fact. I was the only person among the new citizens who new the author of the Star-Spangled Banner

    Update me, please!

CONGRATS I AM HAPPY FOR YOU AND FOR YOUR FAMILY

  6. Recall your decision cannot be made at this time for something minor. So finally a decision could be made, 73 days later. Did anything change? Did you have to provide more evidence?

    Hi NickD,

At the interview the I.O did not ask for any further evidence/ even though

I brought a suitecase full of everything that they might ask for!

I asked the I.O if he needed any further evidence, but he said "NO"

The interviewing officer was a young new officer. At the end of the interview

N-652= Decision can not be made/will be refered to supervisior for futher review.

Around 60 days after the interview I called USCIS and asked them to send

an e-request to my local USCIS office "Charlotte". A week after that Charlotte

USCIS sent me a generic computer print out =CASE UNDER SUPERVISIOR REVIEW.

On August/25/2011,around 5:15pm, online status changed to" Suervisior Review Completed"

At that time I was anxious, and at 5:30pm I called USCIS 800#, talked to a second

level officer, and I was pleased to find out that the supervisior approved my case on

August/25/2011, and I will be placed on oath que

I have a feeling that my e-request helped push my application forward even though the response recieved from local office was rather vague!

Right now my online staus is still sitting at " Supervisior Review Completed",

and I am expecting that to change " On Que For Oath"

I do not want to be cynical, but I will breath a sigh of relief when I will actually

recieve the oath letter via snail mail...

  7. I had My interview 73 days ago in Charlotte,NC, case been under supervisior review

for 2 month. Today my online status have changed to " On August 25, 2011, the supervisor review

of your case was completed" I called USCIS and spoke to a second level officer.

I was informed that my case was approved and I am being placed on que to take the oath.

I was ECSTATIC  , I want to thank everyone on this form who shared their opinion.

I will post again as soon as I get the oath letter.

  8. OHMS.... I derived that equation for EM Radiation (in you avatar icon) as an undergrad in Optics. I made a shirt that said exactly that but never printed it.

Thats Wonderful, those are the work of the great Scotich physicist James Maxwell.

Those concise and elegant equations contain the basic fundamentals in the study of electricity

and magnatism expressed in vector calculus and differential operators. The great Einstein himself

was quaoted " the great theory of relativity would not have been possible without Maxwells equations"

May the net force be with you, and beware of quantam ducks Quark! Quark!

  9. IN MY CASE MY DRIVER LICENSE SUSPENSION STEMED FROM FAILURE TO

PAY SPEEDING TICKETS. AS I MENTIONED THAT WAS MANY YEARS AGO,

AND AT THE GREEN CARD INTERVIEW I SHOWED THE I.O MY COMPLIANCE.

AT MY N400 INTERVIEW I SENT SAME DOCUMENTS ALONG WITH APPLICATION

BEFORE THE INTERVIEW" WAS NOT ASKED BY I.O AT INTERVIEW"

AT MY GREEN CARD INTERVIW THE OFFICER SAID HE CAN NOT MAKE A

DECISION ON MY CASE BECAUSE SECURITY CHECK WAS PENDING.THREE

MONTH AFTER THE INTERVIEW I GOT MY GREEN CARD.

I HOPE I WILL HEAR SOMETHING SOON ABOUT MY N400<ITS BEEN UNDER

    SUPERVISIOR REVIEW FOR 56 DAYS>
