I know someone that got their visa 2 months later. Their interview was in begining of april and visa on hand was delivered begining of this month. The consultorio kept giving them the run around but when the finally sent it to the embassy they had their visa within a week. Stay on top of the consultorio...they will tell u that it takes weeks......just keep on top of them.

No appt....u just go. They r open from mon-fri .....7am-11am

Call the embassy. Admin processing is just a general term used in the immigration field.....it can mean anything. When my case was denied. In my first interview i asked DOS for update on my case and they said it was undergoing admin process. Everytime i called they would say that. I asked y they kept saying that if my case was being returned and they said that thats what the have to say until the case is resolved. Just recently when my case was in NVC, after being reaffirmed, and they forward it to DR i called DOS for updates and they said ...its undergoing admin process. So dont worry kerida mia....it might be something minor and usually if it is in AP they usually tell you when they approve you....sometimes they even tell u why (like a medical result was missing). Call them mija.....suerte : )

2x2.....must take 3 pictures and passport along with interview letter and his cedula for medicals. For interview u will need 1 picture....2x2 also.

What they are going to send u is the same thing i got..NOIR. This letter is going to tell you exactly why the consulate thought ur marriage is a sham. If u answered some questions differently then they will specify exactly what the questions were and what each of you answered. They will give you 30 days to respond back...basically u have to address each issue or discrepancy they found. They will ask for evidance....in my case they did not specify what they wanted. A friend of mine was asked for evidance before her interview...so each case is different...wait to see what the letter tells you to provide. After you send everything and uscis receives it they have 60 days to review what you sent. If they decide to approve it then they will send the case back to santo domingo for another interview. The interview will be with another officer and you can not be denied on the same grounds as the first time so they would have to find something new.

Oh yes they do!!! They see how many times you call.

I recomend you call again and put in a service request.

Every hour.....from 9am - 8pm monday -friday and ocasionally on Saturday and Sundays

I know someone that had submitted a petition for a fiance. At time of scheduled interview he withdrew the petition because he fell in love with some chick he met at the airport and got her pregnant. Within less than a month he put in another petition for his now knew pregnant fiance and didnt have the slightest problem neither did they harrass him for filling so sudden after withdrawing the 1st petition. In my opinion....It depends what CO u get.

Sorry you are going through this but thank God this happened now and not when he was here. It would have been worse if he came here and left you to go with the wife :(

First of all I am sooooooooooo happy that you decided to keep this baby regardless of ur circumstance!! I went through a very similar situation...and because I didnt go through with the abortion my ex started to tell everybody that I am crazy, a retard and that I got pregnant on purpose to trap him!! I cried so much and thought that my heart was going to explode in so much pain. I found out I was having a boy...just like you. My son is the most precious gift I have ever received. You do not know how much blessings and how my life turned for the better because of this little boy. I actually met my now husband tbecause of my son....and let me tell you that this man is just amazing...I couldnt have asked for a better person to be my other half (L)

Yes, you will cry so much where you feel that no more tears are left within you, yes, the pain in unbearable but what you will receive after you have that baby in ur arms...is just simply priceless!!! = )

I have gotten congressman involved, submitted form dhs 7001, emailed the follow-up email and the headquarter email. This was due to me not getting a notice of action they said I should receive by nov 1st....one told me I should receive something within 30 days...one week after that the other responded 120 days!! I called and the answer they gave me was that some cases take longer than others...that the officer has to reveiw thoroughly everything in the case file and unfortunately nothing can be done. I explained to the lady that how is it possible that its been over a year since my denial and I still don't know why the idiot thought my marriage was a fraud??? That how is it that I'm told 120 days for review from time of receipt then that passes I put a request and I'm told 6 months and my congressman is told 180 days then that passes n I put another request and one answers 30 days n another 120 days??she said to go by the 120 days. So then I said what is gonna happen after the 120 days?? I'm gonna be told that I have to wait another 180 days? She said no that she doesn't THINK it will actually take 120 days. Its been 52 days so far so got 68 more to go (smh). Unfortunately they will be done whenever they decide to be done....no matter what time or day it is : (

I just sent another email dec 13th n still waiting for a response. They have to be pissed at me for contacting them so much...maybe that's why they taking so dam long with mine....u r not alone chula :'(

Your marriage certificate was legalized. That is the stamp on the back that says...la firma estampada..etc etc..

You do not need to go to Santo Domingo because it was already done in Santiago. Also the BC has to be legalized and that as well can be done in Santiago.

Wow!!!!!!! First of all Congrats on your approval!!!!! Secondly, thank you so much for posting your experience because I now have an idea of what I can do if I get another disrespectful and rude CO. Unlike you, I stood shut with fear that my husbands visa (at the 1st interview) would be denied and didnt know at the time that I could ask to speak to a director. Unfortunately I was told all this when I came back to the US.
