Finally received my interview letter today - scheduled for Nov 3rd. Can someone please update my schedule?

I was in "Scheduled for Interview" status about 2 weeks ago but was never received a notice in the mail.

So I called USCIS about my notice and suddently it changed back to "Placed in line for Interview" status.

It's like my status is moving backward. Does anyone have a similiar issue?

My status got changed to "Scheduled for Interview" since 9/7 but haven't got actual letter yet.

Does anyone take that long? I'm wondering if it gets lost in the mail.

I just got a text message/email. My status is now changed to was place in line for interview scheduling. that's a good sign but still have to wait for interview letter.

Every case is different, but in my case I did FP on Apr 24 and the status online changed when they put me under in-line for interview on May 9.

I had my fingerprinting done on Monday but my status hasn't changed yet. How long does it normally take?

I attempted to make early FP two times already but wasn't successful. I said that my appointment is only on 22nd but I'm here to see if I can get it done today. I was asked to come back on my appointment date. May be I should not mention anything.

Can I go for fingerprinting earlier than what's in the letter?

7/5/2011: Mailed N-400 by Express Mail to Dallas, TX lockbox

7/6/2011: Mail Delivered

7/12/2011: Received Text Msg/Email receipt of application

7/12/2011: Check Cashed

7/16/2011: Received NOA in the mail with priority date of 7/6/2011

7/29/2011: Received Text Msg/Email for fingerprinting

I'm still waiting for actual fingerprinting letter.
