  1. i guess some are true & some are not. we're still waiting for our noa2 since september so turning 8th month on the next month. & heard someone are still waiting on the said filed month. but some got there approvals already since january (on their 4th month). i dunno if that's true but could be for some. service requests doesn't help much so all we need to do is WAIT. still hoping for the best result after this loooooong wait.

  2. Tell your fiance to call again tomorrow and INSIST to speak to a Tier 2 officer. They will try to persuade him to just wait. That is what they did to me, and I just asked them to please check and make sure my case is still there because it had been such a long time. I knew it was still there, but if you tell them they they have to open up a file and actually look at it. They get thousands of people calling and saying it has been a long time, but yours HAS been a long time. He has to be persistent. They really could care less about your situation, but sometimes you will find one with a heart. Good luck to you guys, my heart really does feel for your situation.

ok i will! so wow you got approved at passed 8 months! i hope ours will be this month! we already had a 2nd service request just the other day. they must decide before the enrollment my son for this coming school year so then i won't pay & waste some money. well goodluck on your next step! thanks for your help & take care :)

  3. I am not sure about that so maybe more Experienced VJ that have done an expedite can answer your question. From what I understand and expedite request normally deals with medical or emergency circumstaces I believe. It requires you to file supporting documentstion and you may have to fill out additional paperwork. If they tell they are doing a service request then it may involve the person you talked to sending a request tot he service center about your issue/complaint so they have 15 days to reply back to you. I gave what I believe is correct, but like I said there have been VJ members out there that have done an expedite before, so I hope they will answer your question better.

yeah, that's what i understand too. they gave us 15 days again for the 2nd time. now, all we really need to do is to wait :(

anyway, thank you for your time... god bless

  4. Keep calling .. Vermont is suck... just from my experiences

!!1 FINALLY APPROVE AFTER 1 YEARS 5 MONTHS...

The long journey of waiting finally came to an end on the April 17, 2012.

I called USCIS on the 23 of March and did a services request for the second time. I also got a letter saying that we understand the fact that this petition has been out of the normal processing time and expect to hear from us the final decision about this petition within 60 days.

But I came back on vacation from seeing my wife and on the 18, April and my wife told me she just check on the website and seem she has been approve. After checking on the website I noticed my petition was approve on the April, 17, 2012 the same day I was coming back from seeing my wife. GOD IS GREAT ALL THE TIME.

I also have a strong feeling that she will get this visa by the end of this year or early next year btw March-June

    Post Decision Activity

On April 17, 2012, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

WOW! really? so the one that i've talked to was right!!! he said it can be like 1-2 yrs of waiting! but i hope not for us! :(

that's really suck! anyway at last you're approved! goodluck to both of you!

  5. This is horrible and I am sorry you are going through this. I know how it feels. It has not been that long for me, but I am already getting so impatient. I keep checking USCIS webiste, but get even more sad when I see my case is still under initial process. I pray for all of us to hear a good news soon. Good luck and keep us updated about your status.

actually, their website for case status is not updated so we made an account that's much updated i guess. so u can see when's the last touched. yeah that would be great.. just keep praying. thank you & good luck too. i'll keep u posted.

Ask for the expedite - My petition was filed on 9/23 or so, and we've got our interview scheduled now. We got our NOA2, after the RFE, on March 16.

how do u ask for an expedite? i thought it's the same as a service request? we already had a 2nd time just earlier from tier1.

do u have receipt number?if u have receipt,u can check ur case status if it is in processing or not?

yes but it's not updated :( still in initial review

  6. What state do you live in? I was in a similar situation and I emailed all of my states senators and representatives, and one rep's immigration person was AMAZING, she got us approved within the week, and even managed to push us through NVC and London quicker than normal, because there was risk of Duds missing our wedding  If you're from NH, i'd be glad to point you towards her

oh i live here in Manila, Philippines & my fiance is from Kentucky. he already mailed his senator & replied him back with a form to fill out but as of now, we're still waiting. anyway, thanks for your help, i appreciate it. hoping for the best result.

  7. omg thats waaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyy toooooo long...(did i say looooooooooooooooonnnnggg..lol)even the customer service rep(USCIS) i talked earlier i ask if the your case outside the processing time(5months) u are illegable for expedite...he said yes!!! so wht not u???

WOW i will say u guys have ALL this patience lol

you're right.. we won't give up even if they denied it. we still have a plan B but i hope this very long wait is worth it. they have to decide asap & give us a great result which is APPROVED. my fiance is now looking for our house & he just showed me some photos. i feel quite relieved but it will be very hard if that house will gonna wait for us too for sooooooo looooong.

  8. You have to call in and get a Supervisor or manager on the line. You have to have a answer other than the one you are told.

yes we always get to talk to a supervisor except earlier due to some reasons. all we get is "pending" & can't pull out any information for us or if not, just a service request.

Just keep calling them about once a week. Ask them is your case still there. Good luck. I know how you feel.

i think it's still there based on my account at uscis. last touched was march 1. thank you.. i need your prayers pls.. tnx

  9. Call the NCSC and after you talk to tier 1, who be be reading from a checklist and is very noticeable, because they do not sound personable, tell them you want to be escalated to teir 2, which I believe is an actual immigration officer. Explain your situation and tell them you want them to submit an inquiry on your behalf as to why you have not received an NOA2 and it is 3 months after the average processing time, which is not reasonable. Get the officers name and badge number if they will give it to you and be courteous to them. Let us know what happens or what you find out with your teir 2 inquiry. Tell your petitioner to get their Senator involved and have them also make an inquiry. Good luck.

hi! thanks for the reply. anyway, my fiance just called earlier & he was stucked at tier1. agent just make another service request for the 2nd time & told that we need to get a decision up to May 5. 1st was first week of march. i was listening & told my fiance why he didn't ask to talk to tier2 but well i don't wanna distract him already. i'll just ask him to call there again & must talk to tier2 until someone can give a better assistance. about the senator, he sent a letter together with the form to fill out but then still no answer.

  10. hello everyone! It's already past 7 months & still patiently waiting. I know it will come but i feel it's so unfair already! Everyone got there approvals! :(

-- we've called several times ( all we got is pending )

    -- service request

-- asked help from the senator

    -- emailed for follow up

& i checked it from the uscis account that last touched was march 1

Is there anyone who had the same as ours or maybe give me some advice? thanks in advance

  11. i need an answer to your question too. i think it depends on what state are you in. i was planning to get an international license here in PI but the driver's license must be still valid & i think it will cost like Php 1800k+. someone said that it's cheaper for you to get a license there once u already have an international permit from here. u should ask more from someone at your place where u can get a driver's license.
