It's just a really odd question, because the whole purpose of the i-134 is that the person signing it is pledging support, so why ask unless they're wondering if there's to be a specified amount?

OK, since this topic is relevant to my current situation, I'll post a followup question. We got our NOA2 two weeks ago, and are still awaiting our NVC case number. My fiancee is in Toronto, and I just this past week had my father fill out his i-134 as co-sponsor. After debate, we decided that he should select "do not intend" on item 11, since there is no specific amount or schedule of contributions he intends to make, only as needed. If experienced eyes are reading this, and while there is still time, should I have him, as co-sponsor, re-do the form with item 11 as "intend"? How about my own i-134? I know we're working with a very different consulate than the OP is, but after reading this, I'm concerned.
Thank you for responses.

Ours read as follows:
"Heather ********* and I met via an online game in 2009. We have communicated nearly every day since, either via email, IM or voice/video chat. I have traveled to Canada to meet her in person in 08/2010, 09/2010, 10/2010 and 02/2011. She has traveled to the USA to meet with me in person in 11/2010, 12/2010, 04/2011 and 06/2011. Each visit has been between 3 and 5 days in length."
No attachment, only what fit in the box on Adobe.
We were approved NOA2 today with no RFE

And, as I guess it was another thread, I commented,... if you're just lookin here at visajourney, I'm sure there are thousands who apply who never find this site. This might be a good 'sample' of the population, but hardly the total base.
Excellent point, GringoD. Anxious waiters that we all all, we have to remember that what appears on Igor's List is not a perfect cross section.
what makes me think that is if u go to the USCIS site, they are processing cases from March only. The goal is supposed to be 5 months...
Everything on the USCIS site should be taken with a grain of salt, I think. The way I choose to interpret what you're seeing there is that March is the earliest petition that they are currently processing. Just a semi-educated guess.
All that being said, it's discouraging to be on the 99th day, and look and see people being approved after 171 days (as an example). I find that tracking Igor's list too closely does tend to give the impression that they've ground to a halt no matter how well they're actually doing, LOL. Missing and waiting can really eat into one's head after a few months, and the best solution is to crack open a cold drink, pop in a good movie, and relax. Easier said than done, no? Imagine how much tougher the wait would be if we didn't have the VJ community.
Cheers and good luck to all.

You could also stream movies online while talking in Skype.
Perfect World International.

Consider things you can do together online besides just sitting and talking. Online gaming is a great way to have fun together while you talk. My fiancee and I play an MMORPG together (note the profile pic ), which not only gives us a common activity, but also mutual friends... in fact it's how we met.

It's a day to celebrate! Heather's K-1 Visa interview in Montreal this morning was a success (in spite of the pouring rain)! Thanks to the whole VJ community for all the support and information over the past 10 months.
