  1. @southcalhog: i dont know why they didnt keep my passport at the embassy but on the 221g form that is the only thing they asked from me... they just asked for current proof that my fiance is getting his benefit from the Veterans affair.

    @EAbbas: what MENA countries?

    @jennydgreat: WOW! yours was fast... congrats!

    thanx for the info... wanted to call/email them but when i checked US embassy manila's website i found this:

    "If you were refused under Section 221(g) the Immigrant and Nationality Act (INA) and had submitted the required documents via the 2GO commercial courier, you are kindly requested to wait to hear from the U.S. Embassy about the status of the visa application."

    that's the only thing stopping me from making follow ups... what do u think?

  4. :help: im confuse, my interview is in 2 weeks & im not sure if i have all the necessary documents needed as for the financial aspect... my fiance is a full time student (using GI bill), iraq war veteran & hasnt work since 2009 (that was his last ITR) he hired a lawyer for my visa process. the lawyer asked him to fill out I-134 & asked for his ITR for 2009, bank details & some docs from VA (which states how much he get each month from them). all those docs where sent to USCIS when he filed for the petition for my visa (K1). now i read that i need I-134 for my interview, but my fiance said that he doesnt have the original copy since it was already sent to USCIS. all i have are scanned copy af all the docs that was send to USCIS. & was told to just print all of it & bring it with me on my interview. im really worried about this aspect. thanx for your help...
  5. I practiced filling out form DS-156 & send it to our lawyer to make sure that everything is right. She told me to change my answer to question 32 ("do you intent to work in the US") which I answer NO,though i definitely have plans on getting a job once i get permit.

    So now I need to fill out a new form DS-156 & my concern was if that will cause a problem on my interview as the first form got a barcode on it. Hope someone will enlighten me. Thanks.

  6. hey! just did my medical last monday... there will be no charge for the vaccine (that was my concern too :) ), the doctor will tell your fiancee which vaccines she needs to get ( i got 3 :crying:), which will given on the 2nd day which means she passed medical exam coz she wont get to 2nd day of medical if they found any problem with the result of her xray, urine & blood. oh by the way, tell your fiancee not to go there on a MONDAY, line is so long & also register online, it will make it faster.

    here's the link My link

  7. hi! i am going to do my medical tom but i have not scheduled my interview yet, i thought i can schedule my visa interview after my medical but as i check st. lukes website, it indicates there that one of the documents they require are 2 photocopies of your Appointment Letter/ Instruction Letter... hmmm what is that? is that the letter that i will get after i schedule online for visa interview? thanx

  8. our petition was approved june 27th & we havent done anything yet as we were confused with the process. now we know what to do, we are just concerned on the affidavit of support coz my fiancee is not working, he is studying & using GI bill... we want to know if that would be enough, tax returns that he used was way back on 2009... would those docs be enough? or do we need someone else for support? thanx :)
