  1. Thanks for taking time to reply to my question guy!I really appreciate it...But I Have one last question,I've been told that the processing fee is $1490.00,but I saw in a Us Government website that its only 1,070?which one is true? And based on your experience how much did you pay for a change of status of your fiancée?Thanks guys!I like joining in this forum because it really help us alot from the very beggining of the process.

  2. I am now confused on what to do.My fiance and i just got married this 17th of november this year, since we are married we are now trying to file for change of status here in the U.S...the only questions that's been bothering us is the medical procedure...I am not sure if I need to get a civil surgeon to do the examination, vacination. Etc. before we send the whole papers to the USCIS? or well just send the vacination record along with the X Ray result to them without going to the Civil Surgeon.?please help...What is the best thing to do?:-(

  3. My fiance got a raise recently and we want to know what to declare on the Affidavit as his income. Does he declare his current salary or the one he received on last year's tax transcripts? He is also self-employed so what does he declare for the total amount?

    Do we do:

    new salary + self-employment income from 2011

    or

    new salary + self-employment income from 2010

    or

old salary + self-employment income from 2010 (as reflected in his tax transcript)

My fiance is also moving to a new job just a couple of days before my interview. There is absolutely no way he can get an employment letter done up and sent to me in time and obviously will not have any paystubs, so we were wondering if a written letter from him describing his situation as well as a copy of his offer letter from his new employer would be sufficient to prove that he is still making a suitable amount of income.

    Hello!

My first question is..Is he coming for your interview? If so,then their would not a lot of problem if he will be there for your interview..My interview was took only 50 seconds because my fiance was there..The consular officer didn't ask for his tax papers, pictures, birth certificate etc. the only thing they asked from us are the NBI,NSO birth certificate,my passport and my cenomar.

If he'll not be there in your interview he needs to get his tax returns from his bank(the latest 2011),which my fiance also did..Even the consular officer didn't ask for it during our interview. The consular officer won't be more suspicious if he had a job while you we're in the process,If they asked you if what his work and if he still working just answer them rightfully and explain to them well his situation.i suggest that you do not worry about your last question, because its only days he got layed off before your interview and his still got a job...Your only problem I think Is his latest tax returns which is you will really need...Ask him to send it to you before its too late...Goodluck!
