WOW!!!!! I did not know they had expedited services. I have ran into some changes in my life that I am in need of my fiance getting here like two weeks ago! So does he still have to go through the interview process in Kingston? I have retained a lawywer do all my paperwork so do you think that will make a difference? Like should I have him do the request or should I do it myself? WOW!!! Congradulations to you for think so smart!

i always so im staying at a resort. also, i always say im staying a week even tho i stay for weeks to a month. now i have beeen questioned as to y i have so much luggage for a short trip but i just tell them im a woman! lol! i do tell them honestly that i bring stuff for my boyfriend. the last trip i had to jamaica this summer, coming home i was harrassed by customs. i think its because i have been so frequent in this little time. so i told them that i been to visit my fiance and i tell them that i stay with him and the truth of course of my length of stay. but thats to the customs people once i reached stateside.

Yes, I have called and left messages, and emailed several times. I have not personally visited b/c the law firm and he is in NY while I'm in AR. So your process from file date to him coming to the states took 5 months total? Im not including the once he got here processes.

You paid a US lawyer or a JA lawyer? If it's a US lawyer, send him a fax, email, and letter by certified mail - give him a deadline for response (less than a week at this point) and if no response go straight to the bar association and file a grievance -

If it's a JA lawyer, good luck with that one!

You don't typically need a lawyer to get through this process - but you need to find out what the first lawyer has or has not done.

Hey all! I am wondering about my case. I paid a lawyer to prepare all my documents, send them off, and advise us on everything from start to finish. I have not been able to reach my lawyer in almost a month. Should I worry and consult another lawyer to sue the first lawyer? I have paid in full all my fees to him already.
