I received the document just today and with NO reason why???? It just has the note "Refused by Addressee. Returned for 3.73 additional postage. When remailing, cross out this notice or paste stamps over it." It looks like they know I will remail it. But why didn't they give any reason at all! What should I do with the address? I addressed it USCIS Vermont Service center, 75 Lower Welden Street, P.O. Box 200 St. Albans, VT 05479-0001. It's exactly what's written. What's wrong with that? why would they refuse and just send it back without any reason????

My card expires Sept. 28, 2014 so I sent the package June 28, 2014 (Saturday). They didn't receive it until July 1. Now it's on it's way being returned to me???!!! Why would they return it back when I think I am in my 90 days time frame. Basing it from that filing date calculator, the earliest date they could accept is June 30, 2014. My signed documents were signed Sept. 28 though. but why would they send it back when they received it within time frame? This is just nuts! I know we did everything right in that package. Now, should I resend it again as is when I receive it??

i think they just have to let her take some medications incase she has it then check on her again if she's cleared before they approve. Might take months really. i think. Let her ask Saint Luke's how long it might take and things she needs to do or be prepared with. You'll get over these hurdles. Keep on being strong in your love for each other and keep praying. Are you following up your passport status thru email? Cozi did that too and gets a reply of please use a valid passport number or UID

leave the subject line blank and put your complete passport number on the body. send. Mine is now "PIcked up"

Oh my... looks like almost everyone of us are receiving corrupted or empty PDFs from NVC!! We were having problems opening it too and later we will call and let them resend again.. They really should fix their system. Waiting too long plus too much delay equals :angry: :angry: :crying: :crying:

Help please! How can i open NVC attachment with .pdf file.. tried it with 9 version and bluebeam and adobe X. Anyone with the same problem? what will we do? :help:

Good morning i sent the Police clearance with my NBI clearance and all the other Original documents for Packet 1V still the NVC requested a new Police Clearance . . so i sent them what they want just to facilitate our papers and case complete. We hope we can hear from them next week . . hubby is already excited and looking for flights now . God Bless everyone . .

If you stayed more than 6 months from another country other than Phil. maybe that's the one they're looking for.

It's not okay, it's REQUIRED. You HAVE to attach the bar-coded cover sheets to the packages before sending them off to NVC if you don't want any problems.

Is it ok to just attach the bar coded forms the NVC send to the pre-filled-up form like the DS-230 before sending it back to them? Thank you...

It will because DS-230 "Does NOT" Expire ... what you see on the top right corner is the OMB date which is something completely unrelated to immigration

Hello everyone! I hope someone can give me an opinion on these. While we were in our process in USCIS waiting for our NOA2, I already prepared the documents needed for the NVC and all the packets. I sent those required originals and other documents to my husband. My questions are:

1. Since i notice that the forms for DS230 expiration changes often, the DS230 i sent my husband is already expired. Would they still accept this or would my husband need to send again the new documents to me through snail mail for me to fill up and put my original signature and send back gain?

2. Since the documents i sent to my husband don't have the bar codes, would they accept it if my husband will give them the packet and just attach the form with bar code on it?
