No. The AOS process is different from the I-129F petition process. Your AOS package will either stay at the NBC and be adjudicated there, or, it will be transferred to your local USCIS office if you're selected for an interview. In a few weeks, you'll receive a letter for the biometrics appointment at your local CIS office.
already did my biometrics yesterday..so now im up for waiting for my ead..hopefully wont take that long....

MSC is the national benefits center. All AOS applications go there.
Moved from K-1 process to adjustment of status as this is not a K-1 process and the OP is in adjustment of status.
oooppss...sorry for that...thanks for corrections...and thanks for answering too...
ah ok..so meaning from there it will be processed there or either transferred to csc or vsc?

Hi...I attended seminar last Friday. I only presented to them copies of my valid ID, Passport, BC & CENOMAR, and also my visa. They didnt ask for the original copies of BC & CENOMAR, only my passport. As for the BC of my fiance, they didn't look at it either, same with his divorce decrees. So maybe you are good to go.., I am only sharing what I have experienced so far..Good luck...

Some were there in as early as 3 am....I went there around 530 am and I am already on for afternoon session...so just be early......

Yes, I've had this happen. At the POE they give you the opportunity to update the address so you give it to them there.
hi Krikit, so you mean even if i don't notify the US embassy here in Manila before they will issue my visa, it would not be a problem or an issue for me at the POE?
-
please VJ members...hope you can help me with this......:

Hello everyone here...has anybody here who has experienced having the petitioner changes his address a month after the interview of the beneficiary and the visa is not yet issued to the beneficiary because he/she been hold under 221(g)? what did you do? please i need some input.....help......
-
You always need to notify the agency, which has your current paperwork about any change of "permanent address" where you receive your mail or any emigrant notifications, or final destination of your petitioned fiance/wife.
when you say agency, do you mean the USCIS? or the Embassy here in Manila? I am really confuse coz some would say it's ok as long as all my personal infos are correct....

Hi..I'm here again....now got another question my fiance has already given up his apartment last June coz he is driving truck, what do we need to do now? he is now using his mom's address, do we need to notify the US embassy here in Manila about some changes? I still don't have my yet though, will it be a problem at the POE ( soon... ) since the address I wrote st the DS forms were his apartment address? Need some advice from you vj members...hope you won't get tired of answering...thanks a lot

that sucks, hopefully everything goes well for you both.
Yeah I kow how it sucks.....it's waiting mode again now that I have it send to USEM....
-
yes your visa will most likely have the expiration date of your medical..that is the way it worked for my wife. We did an early medical in february, had interview in april, and when she received her visa it was only good until august (6 months after her medical date). She had no complications during the medical either.
So your interview was in May, why did it take until now to send your 221g documents? (I'm assuming you were waiting on a police clearance?) As far as in your case, when they finally send your visa, make sure to look at it close for the expiration date. You may have to fly pretty quick in order to use your visa.
It's not the police clearance but it is about my fiance looking for work...luckily he got hired last week of May but some friends told me I need to have some payslips for at least 2 months and also the certificate of employment..that made the delay in sending our documents to USEM

hi vj members...i'm here again..I know it's been a long time since the last time i posted something here....and I am just curious now...AGAIN...hopefully some of the members here would still reply to my question..To recall everything, I had my medical last April 12 & 13, 2012 and had my interview may 2, 2012 but unfortunately I was under 221(g). Just this morning, i sent my 221(g) docs to US embassy here..my question now is since my medical will expire on october 13th ( 6 months after my medical date ), will it affect the visa process? will the consul require me another medical exam ? how about the visa? will the expiration of it be the same as with my medical date? Hopefully someone can enlighten regarding this things..
Thanks a lot fellow VJ members! God bless

^^^ Oops...I meant to say I-134...not I-129.
You can try to submit the stepdad's I-134 and I-864, along with his income tax returns, W-2's, recent paycheck stubs, and employer's letter. You also might want to submit letters from both your fiancé and his stepdad which explain how they plan to support you so that you don't become a public charge in the U.S.
If you don't have any luck, then your fiancé will need to get a job which puts him over 125% of the poverty line, and he can submit his paycheck stubs to the Embassy.
If that fails, then you can always get married in 'Pinas and then file for a spousal visa (CR-1 visa).
Hi...I only have his stepdad's I-134 and ITR for 2010 & 2011, no paystubs though coz he is already retired, i tried him to fill in the I-864 but he don't want to because he do not want to expose whatever assets they'v got., thanks for the advice, I will try to tell my fiance about the letter and see what we can do about that

Sometimes the U.S. Embassy Manila allows cosponsors for K-1ers and sometimes they don't.
> A Pinoy friend of mine was about $5000 under 125% of the poverty line, but his Filipina fiancée still got her K-1 visa. At her interview, the consular officer gave her an MNL-IV-22 (221g) because of his lack of sufficient income.
About one week after her interview, he sent her both an I-129 and an I-864 from his cosponsor. He also sent the the cosponsor's supporting documentation for those forms. She submitted them to the Embassy and she received her visa a week ot two later.
He is a Pinoy who is in his mid-twenties, was born and raised in the Philippines, and is now a U.S. citizen who is living in the U.S. His cosponsor is his brother. He was not a student at the time and he is not a college graduate. He was living at home with his mother (in the U.S.).
> I also know a Pinoy guy who is in his mid-twenties and who went to his K-1 interview at the U.S. Embassy Manila and was approved despite the fact that his Pinay petitioner lived at home with her parents, was a college student, had no job, and had no income whatsoever. He was a college graduate.
The Filipino pre-screener told him that the Embassy didn't allow cosponsors for K-1ers. However, the consular officer accepted the cosponsor (her parents) and he received his visa a week later.
hi Tahoma...I have his stepdad's I-134 together with the ITR for 2010 & 2011, do you think it will do good considering the CO didnt accept that during my interview? and the I-129F, you mean copy of that oine we sent to USCIS?
Gary and Allah, my fiance is currently out of work right now and is still looking for job..our co-sponsor is his stepdad....

so you mean, it would take for like 4-6 months of pay stubs?
