  1. I am assuming that you do this through consulate in your country. If so then you should call National Visa Center, let them know that you are divorced and want to change your from F3 to F1. They will then ask you to submit a divorce paper and any necessary documents. According to Visa bulletin for May 2014, F1 priority date is 08MAR07 and after you change from F3 to F1, you should be current and eligible to migrate to U.S. at this time. If you wish to bring your children, you should ask them how to bring them too. Hope this help and good luck

  2. Hi Pickneygal,

Any documents shows that he had supported you financially as a child till you were 18 years old would help such as old school records, old photos or old documents showing you lived with him as a child/teenager would be very helpful such as your driver license and his driver license that showed the same address. Affidavits of friends and relatives may be also helpful too. I think baptismal records, old school record and photos are very important document if you can find them. Hope this help.

  3. Hi Baileys, I am hoping to see some good movement as well in the next couple of bulletins. Hoping to be current very soon (PD March 26, 2007).

My family is planning their Thanksgiving Day celebrations as well and I am feeling a bit left out crying.gif , but hopefully by next year's Thanksgiving I will be with them to partake in the holiday celebrations. And all 2007ers here will have reunited with their families as well!!!

    Congratulations loudoff!!!!

Hey Javisakid how was your POE? Hope you have reunited with your family and will have a great Thanksgiving day with them!!!!

    Thank you Shema758

  4. javisakid, LOL! Yes, I can tell you that it feels good to become a Permanent Resident of the USA. I received a Welcome letter to USA 2 days after the interview date and my green card is on the way to my address which assuming that I should be receiving it in a couple of days. I am so glad that my immigration process has been completed and can put it aside and my next journey is to get a job( I mean a career) which is really hard but I will keep looking until I get one.

NevermindVz, hang in there! You're almost there!

  5. I would suggest you to discuss your case with an experience attorney. There are some provisions that might apply to your case this including if you have applied for an immigration petition or what year your mother applied for green card and if she had included you in her petition, etc. I think you should talk to a lawyer if there are any sections of laws that apply to your case since you are already in U.S. and are in the process of DACA.

  6. Everybody!!! GOOD NEWS!!!

I just called NVC and they told me that they've scheduled my interview!!!! November 18, 7 AM! I'm shaking so much! This is so crazy exciting! They said it was made earlier this morning and I'll be getting the letter soon!! OMG!! PIZZA PARTY!!!!!!

Congrats javisakid, happy for you! smile.png It had been a nerve-racking wait for you ha. Lol!!

  7. Yes you have to remove all clothing, It will be the last procedure but may be different in other countries.

Loudoff have you done your medical ? From what country ? Are you female ?

I don't see any reason to take off all your clothes unless you are required to do a chest X-ray for TB test which you have to remove your underwear and put on a gown. However, it is different from country to country so I may be wrong. I did adjustment of status and did my medical exam in U.S.

  8. I would like to ask a question to all those who have had their medicals done, especially females (like myself). Do we all have to strip down to our birthday suits? And if yes, what exactly is done at that point?

Definitely not! The test will be mostly about finding if you have contagious diseases or not and are immune to the following diseases

    • Mumps
    • Measles
    • Rubella
    • Polio
    • Tetanus and Diphtheria Toxoids
    • Pertussis
    • Haemophilus influenzae type B
    • Hepatitis B
    • etc.

. They will take your blood samples and test for TB and if you are not immune to one or more of the above diseases, you will be required to get the vaccinations. Good luck!

  9. Just to let you guys know that someone PD 09/21/2006 received IL with appointment dated 10/17/2013. Information is from Vietnamese website. http://xuatnhapcanh.com/forum/forum.php?tabid=155

    Google translated:

    hi, siblings
I just received a paper record interviews for my f1 pd 21/09/2006
    interview date is 17/10
their records were completed 2 years of your right.
but records of his brother pd 21/08/2006 still not received pv, this profile has been 6 months and completed
this proves out to record conditions and completed the pass on priority mail want pv also somewhat dependent on the time records were completed more

  10. I had my interview today and my visa was approved! I got to the Consulate around 6am and one hour later i got inside the building and was told to fill out two papers and then put my documents in order. Thirty minutes later I was called to the window where a woman checked all the documents I submitted and the ones I was asked to bring along, everything went well, she took my fingerprints and told me to wait for my turn for the interview, which took around thirty minutes too. The consul was a young woman, very nice and polite, asked a few questions about my father and then told me my visa was approved. I had to go to the post office pay the courier fee and that's all!

    Congrats to you too, mmateus.

  11. Thank you very much for lawyer indication.

Will contact them and post her answer.

    --------------------------------------------

I think that in this forum there is anyone that had the same issue.

    Hope to find out.

    What is your priority date?

Are you doing consular processing or Adjustment of status?

I didn´t update NVC and USCIS about my marriage and divorce.

Call NVC to update your information and find out what documents they need and submit them as soon as possible

My case will be converted from F1 to F3?

Yes, your case will be converted back from F3 to F1

My PD will be considered the same?

Yes, your priority date is the same as appear in the I767 (Notice of Action)

How many time do I need to wait to get permission to go?

Your priority date should be current if the petition was filed in June 2006

Talk to 2-5 different lawyers and you need to bring all the documents so that they can give you the right opinions.

    Good luck.
