  1. I don't wanna "chillax" - I want my man here with me! I'm completely incapable of being lacksadaisical about anything having to do with my man and our future together! :star: Anyway, I've been calling every day this week just to see what happens when I make the same request, and they give a different answer each time I talk to them, so I'll be in touch with my senator soon to see what they can do to help us. :)

I ve being through the same believe me and I really know how it feels, I also made a letter ready for my senator ,it is sux to be waiting this long I wish you a very good luck and I very hope you hear from them 2 weeks or less from your Service Request

  2. What I'm wondering now, Terri, is since they have 90 days to respond to a service request, can putting in a request actually delay our approval? I'm simultaneously hopeful and paranoid now, and want to make sure I'm doing the right thing. :) Thanks so much for your feedback!

they just give you 90 days to stop bothering them you will get your NOA2 soon ,in my case after I put a service request I got a letter saying I will receive a response within 60 days ,fortunately I waited only 2 weeks after my service request just chillax you will hear something soon

  3. Boy I hear you loud and clear. We are now at 7 1/2 months. My fiance is going to the Hertford office on Tuesday for an infopass appointment. We got nowhere with the service request or congressional inquiry. In fact they told Glenn (USC / fiance) that with the service request they buy themselves 90 days to LOOK into the matter.

We even went over every piece of information we sent and there is NOTHING to give a delay (other than the RFE for a divorce certificate. The RFE was issued after 5 months of waiting.

I know patience.. well screw patience now, we want action.

Let me know how you make out on Monday.

Sometimes the expression is true "It's not WHAT we know, but WHO we know. Good luck to you

    Terri

you to "at long at last " please keep me posted on what s going on with info pass , I m heading toward the 6 months and I m very frustrated , that is not right

  4. Our local office has been extremely helpful, in things which the local office handles.

The local office does not handle petitions. They have access to the same computer update you do but probably will not bother to check it.They will tell you it takes "about 6 months" (they always say this) and then you will say "but it has been more than 6 months" and they will say "check back again in 30 days"

Being "assertive" means you are going to be very miserable.

So Gary and Alla is the status "currently under review" within 60days get a decision a Positive sign or is it just a caned answer for more wait?

  5. I put a service Request on 21 November , and this is what I get more wait ,I was so disappointed : any idea if they will give me more time after the 60 days pass

  9. Everyone in this waiting game is feeling your pain , I found this definition on Wikipedia and glad to inform you my friend; what are you passing by now is a Stamina endurance hahahah "joke" if you not believe me here is the definition:

"Patience (or forbearing) is the state of endurance under difficult circumstances, which can mean persevering in the face of delay or provocation without acting on annoyance/anger in a negative way; or exhibiting forbearance when under strain, especially when faced with longer-term difficulties. Patience is the level of endurance one can take before negativity. It is also used to refer to the character trait of being steadfast"
