  1. Hope that kinda helps!!

  2. I found for us it was so difficult to get a hold of anyone in the embassy to talk to but one women told me on the phone to email the emergency visa services at ccea@state.gov. I just told them our case was at the 3 month mark and I got an email in 3 days saying the AP was over and now the consular just needed to review the case. This part took 4 days and then they said they would send it.

  3. I was doing the exact same thing to people in AP lol. I would look all the time at people's time lines and think ok their case took about 3 months and were hitting that mark now so hopefully its almost over lol.

  4. Yes you can still go into AP even if they took your passport and visa and said approved. This happened to my husband. Interview July 11 they said approved and you'll get your visa, then found out he was in AP and finally got his visa 3 months later on October 6th. You can always redo your medical and they will then send the visa.

  5. The processing finished September 28th and I got an email saying they consular now needs to review the case. This part took about 4 days and we were notified on October 2nd the processing was finished and he would receive his visa in 2 weeks!! He is flying home tonight!! How is you processing is it all over yet? God be with you both.

  7. Called them and they say oh your are in A/P...... why did they say approved. How long will this take? I called DOS and they give you no answeres. Will this be weeks, months? We don't know what to do now. Clean records for both of us. Both 24 and 26. Never been married before each other. Submitted a ton of evidence. I am so hurt and let down.

  8. Thanks. I am so frustrated because my husband had his interview on July 11, 2011. The consular officer told him he was approved but to bring in his military records the next day so he did. He asked the woman am I approved she said yes, she kept his passport (which they actually took at the original interview) and said you will get your visa in the mail. It's been 9 days... no visa... cal...
