    This chapter of my visa journey is done. Last night I POE'd in Ft. Lauderdale with my hubby, who had made the trip to Jamaica with me to be there for the interview. I'm so thankful to God, to hubby, and to VJ. This journey has been VERY eventful, but God's hand has been in it through the ups and downs. I'm starting a new life with my beloved now and I'm SO grateful that we're able to live together... Skype and Magic Jack are gonna miss us BIG time!!! laughing.gif

    My mother I-130 not approved till now applied in August!!!

    Hi Guys, Hope everyone is doing very well and their I-130 is moving smoothly... I filed for my mother at August last year and till now I did not recieve anything.. NOTHING! I am very furious because I need my mum with me before I start my residency. I see many people had their IR-5 approved already who filed after me and I am really confused I don't know what is going on... I called USCIS and I asked them to check and they found out that my mum case has been out of processing times and I asked to expedite her I-130 and sent them my son's birth certificate and a letter from the hospital where I am going to start my residency in July! and I even scheduled an Info pass and went and there was not anything added to tell me what happened! all the officer said to me at the info pass that she sees that they recieved the document that they asked for to know why I wanna expedite my mum I-130! then 3 days later I got a later and an email stating that I should hear from them in 45 days!!!

    Now what shall I do? should I contact my senator? I am very frustrated :((

    Time to contact your Congressman/Congresswoman to investigate this. Don't give up!!!

    Is it possible to order BC for children on the RGD website? If so what additional information will we need and if you know the cost? Havent done any research yet, just asking to see if anyone has gone through this...Thanks

    I ordered my BC from this site last year. 7 day service was more like 12 day service....

    AFTER 197 DAYS OUR NOA2 FINALLY CAME!!!!!!!!!! :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: I RECEIVED A TEXT WITH THE GREAT NEWS!!!!!!! Im a July 26th filer. They are coming guys, slowly but steady. I really hope this is the longest wait of the whole process, almost 200 days :wow:

    I file a petition for my mom and i received the noa1 with a priority date of June 27,2011 but up to now I have not receive the noa2. Does anyone here in VJ file I-130 on the same date as mine and receive the noa2?

    Information taken from a review i wrote for my parent;s interview in Kingston, Jamaica.. hope it helped.

    about 11:58a Mom/Dad was called to the Counter Together .. They were asked 3 questions seen below - 1045a My mom was called with #A154 she was asked the following questions:

    1. Who Filed For You - Son

    2. Where Do You work - Name of Place

    3. Longer travel to America - 2 weeks

    4. What type of work do you do - given

    5. Who filled out the Application (occupation was incorrectly spelled) - Son

    6. IS your husband here? - Yes.

    1050a My dad was called he was asked all the questions above except 2,4,5. he was also asked if there were anyone else "here" who needs to be interviewed? No.

    1. Who Petitioned for you.

    2. How Did your Son Get to The US

    3. Did He Marry An American

    4. Where does your Son LIve

    5. Do YOU have a Visa ( dad had his mom dad (Blue Slipped)

    6. Are you travelling to the US together?
