Update: We're going on 2 years of my hubby being here! Unbelievable! We're doing well and overcoming all obstacles that have come our way. His daughter is still with us, she will be returning home next month or march with AP and returning in June to wait for her GC. She will then leave to DR to live with her mother for good and visit us in the summers.(After all of the hassle, that was the agreement) We're also going on 2 years of marriage in April. Time flies! Update: We're going on 2 years of my hubby being here! Unbelievable! We're doing well and overcoming all obstacles that have come our way. Noelia, thank you! Yes I completely agree about her being with her mommy, I'm happy it happened this way, this way we could all get along better.. The thing is that she wanted to make her lose her papers and us send her before the process was over after spending a lot on getting everything done.. But thankfully we were able to come up with a reasonable agreement and she didn't let her daughter lose her papers :-)

Hubby has been at the same job for over a year, has worked some part time jobs as well. He has his own car, and is learning some English. He could defend himself. Must say overall, we're doing well! I'm going back to school this semester and then eventually planning on having children maybe next year if all goes as planned and the Lord allows it. Hope all of you guys are doing well too!

I haven't been here for a while but I'll give you a little update: My husband has been here for about a year and a half. He is still taking English classes and recently had his first "English" interview. My husband barely knew any English when he got to the US, so this was a HUGE step for him. I am extremly proud of all of his accomplishments and am excited to see what our future holds. I must admit, we have our good days and bad days but nobody said this was going... -

Has anybody encountered any issues since your husband arrived to US where the Baby Mom wanted more $$ for child support?

yea Ana I know.. we are at the point of signing an agreement and she included that in the agreement for her to stay here til march.. she is now saying she won't sign unless he agrees to that otherwise she will sue him for pension once again and demand that amount. but the baby is not even there yet and shes worried about that..

little update....its been almost 3 mnths since hubby has been here. he has all his documents in hand, he is working and passed the written driving test yesterday!!!! it hasnt been peaches n cream since the adjustment from DR to the US has been a bit difficult for my hubby but we hanging in there. Hope everyone is doing ok...God bless u all : )
