That's good. Antonio never learned to speak English so we only speak in Italian. He's going to have to slowly learn it here. I've tried my best, even as an English as a second language teacher I can't teach him because he knows I know Italian so he always speaks to me in Italian! Birichino!

Hi Angelina! No, for the Consulate, it can be in either Italian or English. They only need it to be translated into English if it is in some other language. The US Consulate in Naples also serves Malta and Iran, so I think they are talking about those languages that that to be translated into English. But Antonio brought everything in English. Do you two converse mostly in Italian?

So if I understand correctly, if you are applying for a DCF, that means you've been a legal resident in Italy for at least 6 months? From what I've heard, that's by far the fastest way to go. I did the K-1 so for me it took us 7 months. I heard for DCF it can take a matter of weeks.

Hi, Juligas, I just got your message. I really am sorry for your situation. I didn't do anything to expedite my situation. I was just one of the lucky few to get the NOA2 before CSC really slowed down. You could try to contact a senator. It helped me at the consular stage. We're in Napoli now. Hoping it all goes well!
