Well IV fee is finally open, I'm getting ready to send in the DS230 packet. I have the Police Clearance Certificate, but on the ds230 checklist it says "Original/Certified Passport Office Police Certificate for Beneficiary"

What is that? Do I need to send that for the Pakistan Embassy or is the Police Clearance Certificate just as good? please clear me up on this! Thanks!

You just need to send police certificate,Passport office certificate is for India only heres the list what u need to send with ds230.

Police certificate

passport bio page

marriage certificate(original or u will get RFE)

Birth certificate(original)

two 2x2 passport photos

OK wife had her interview she went there late around 8:30 took her fingerprints signed ds230 and told her to have a seat after 15mins they called her name took oath asked for marriage certfacite in (URDU) thats all they did not looked at wedding pictures or asked any documents, i sent her whole bunch of documents and they didn't looked them at all) asked few questions like who sponsoring u, when marriage took place,any kids, is this ur first marriage, and thats all the co was american lady my wife said she was so nice then she said ok ur approved u will get ur passport in one week from american express, hope this will help people going for interview there. thanks all my vj friend for supporting i could not have done this without u guys thanks again and good luck for ur journey hope will end soon :star:

Well well She got the visa in very short interview just couples questions and they did.'t look at wedding pics or asked any others papers the Co was american lady my wife said she was so nice n polite she said she can pick up the passport in one week or maybe sooner then that so happy right now,i would like to thank all u guys for ur prayers n support hope every one get together soon inshallah. :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance:

my wifes interview is tomorrow at the US Embassy in Manila. i hope she has everything. i just want to say thank you to the folks here in VISA JOURNEY. you people have been a VERY VERY big help.

but i have one more thing to ask:

is there any fees my wife has to pay for before or after the interview?

Finally the date is here wife going for interview on Wednesday sept 7th at Islamabad embassy plz everyone pray she gets visa right away without any problems i will share the interview detail later thanks.. :star:

If you send it to NVC and if ur interview date is gona be this year, then u r ok.

If u interivew is going to be next year then u will need 2011 TAX TRANSCRIPTS

"Make sure u have tax transcripts for "PAST LAST 3 YEARS" Also pay stubs too. It helped me.

They said the visa will be avalible at a office after eid. So probally after a week.

OK i have one question that i have already sent mine and co sponsor most current tax transcripts to NVC does my wife still have to bring them at time of interview in Islamabad embassy will they ask for them cause i sent her mine only not co sponsor since i didn't have one n her interview is in couple days plz share any advise here thanks.

wow isnt this a ######.. the embassy is gona be open on the 30.. called again today and they changed the date. wow. I guess we are on the 30th then.. 3 more days to go..

Its good you found someone close to your husbands case.

If I hear anything I will let you know since the interview dates should not be too far apart.

And if you hear anything, please do let me know. My whole time off from work depends on this interview date.

hello.. my interview is on 2oth sept n i have heard that now alot of females r also going through an AP so i am very worried now, can anyone please guide me how to avoid geting an AP. My husband have send me all the documents required. plus i also want to know will i be needing a new police certifcate as the one i send to NVC was till 4th july 2011.. i just wana be sure coz getting a new police certificate means going through all the pain again..well i hope not.please give me interview prep tips i'll be very thankful.

Well im in same boat with u hopefully someone will help us here, i think it will be good idea for u to get a new police certificate since it has been expired thats what i did for my wife her was expire too u never know what they might ask u so stay on safe side lol. what documents u have already for interview?

Ok my wife having her interview next week in islamabad i already sent her copies of 130,ds230,mine and co sponsor i864 my tax return transcript for 2010 so theres anything else i have to send her from here like co sponsor tax return transcript for 2010 i didn't send it cause NVC have it already plz any advise on this who gone through this experience im so nervous right now plz help what else she needs to take with her thanks.

She asked me these questions:

Is it your love or arrange marriage?

Is it cousin marraige?

Is it your ist marriage?

Is it your husbands ist marriage?

Do you have kids?

Do your husband has kids from previous marriage?

Where your parents live?

Do you have brothers/sisters?

Where your brothers live?

These were the questions and the documents needed are

Orig police certificate

Orig birth certificate

Orig marriage certificate,not only translation

Tax return of 2010

Ur wife's file which will come from nvc to embassy will have all the required documents I thnk expect of tax return of 2010 and perhaps origional marriage certificate (not translation) so ur wife shd keep dem wid her on the day of interview.all the best..

hello all! i m from pakistan i am in f2a category just 2 days before, i had an interview in Islamabad..my priority date was may 2008.my interview went fine she asked few questions and in the end she said every thing seems to be fine i just want some more documents from you then she gave me a light blue paper on which it was written:

"section 221(g) which prohibits the issuance of visa to anyone whose application does not comply with the provisions of the immigration and nationality act or regulations issued pursuant thereto.the following remarks apply in your case.*

wedding or marriage certificate

2010 tax returns.

when i read this letter i said that i already have tax returns of 2010 of my husband..i showed her she said ok but v need original marriage certificate in native language i.e is urdu.then she kept my passport and also gave me back my original documents which were submitted in nvc.

now i am worried what will be the future process??as soon as i will submit the original marriage certificate in urdu they will issue me visa or is there chance they can put ne in Administration Processing?in thje paper they gave me there was nothing written about AP nothing else just about missing documents.please help me i m really worried..waiting for ur replies.thanks

I thinks ones u submit ur urdu marriage certificate u should be ok cause it just say "missing documents" Inshallah u will get visa soon.My wife having her interview in couple weeks lets see how she does if u can tell me what kind of question they ask u will help her and what other documents they asked? thanks n good luck
