    Im having trouble trying to plan out what we should do. Do we get married here and I apply for the fiance visa? OR is it easier to get married in Morocco and then apply for the other paperwork? We are going to have a wedding in both places either way Im sure, but I guess im just trying to figure out legality wise whats better for us?

      With the delays happening lately, some are lucky though, spousal visa is the better alternative. Cheaper and he can start working shortly upon US entry not having to wait for dunno how long for the GC.

    It's amazing the difference in married life when both people are working. I wish they had a faster way to allow the spouse to work after arriving on K1. It would really help with the waiting process too. It use to be work auth upon entry. Hate they took that away.

    After 2 months and 2 days from AP, we are now out of it! Visa finally approved! Yeyy! :)

      Hi sis, iba naman yung reason ng 221g namin...sa divorce ng fiance ko. Na resolve din sa tagal ng paghihintay namin. If there is a problem with your fiancé's finances, I'll suggest getting a co sponsor, better be safe than go over the whole process again. Good luck sis!

      Thanks Rachel! Yes finally I got it! Hoping my other AP friends would get theirs soon too!

      At the moment I'm soooo busy at work, audit season and yearend reports + turnover. I can't wait to join my fiance in the US.

    Just done today sending to USEM the asked documents, hope the CO would be satisfied with the affidavits from my grade School Principal, District School Supervisor and my class adviser that time, then my hubby threw in an expedite letter request,...so help me GOD :))

    Just got off the phone with DOS..case is still pending at the embassy under AP and the lady told me to call again next week for update...hoping they'll finish it next week.

      goodluck sis! tawag ka na now kasi baka holiday sila tomorrow for Thanksgiving o baka now yung Holiday nila kasi same dito sa Singapore. I'm going to church later for some renewal seminar, i'll pray for us sissies!

      Thank you for the encouragement sis, that means a lot to me. We have gotten his Senator to help follow up with our case, sana naka action na ang Senator bago ako mag email. Para kasing waiting sila ng call bago mag inform na denied ang application, di ba dapat inform na nila agad kahit hindi tumawag. But i'm still hoping for visa approval sis, nagtataka lang ako sa system nila. On a positive note, nakasal na ba kayo sis?

    Called the DOS for visa update...after a couple of minutes wait while she may be digging some info..she came back on the phone to me and said it's still pending at the embassy...and that I had just been recently interviewed!!! Is 7 weeks after interview very recent?!? Grrrrr!!!

      I know how it feels na pabalikin 2 times..never funny. Sana matapos na ang mga process ek ek kung anuman yon...maybe you'll have better luck after your bonding moments with your hubby sis. Will pray for us.

    Hayys!! Is it because the coming of my hubby or I am just tired getting upset at this visa delays!!So I went to USEM..waited my que at window 38, was told to sit back and wait my name to be called! At window 40 the guy told me..sorry ma'am we will mail you the marriage index form request..sorry somebody misinform you..and the CO didn't sign yet the request too! PEOPLE!!!

    WHAT A BLESSED DAY THAT THE LORD HAS MADE..I GOT MY BAPTISMAL CERT AND I RAN TO DROP IT ALONG WITH MY PASSPORT AND CONSUL 221G LETTER TO 2GO CARRIER..and the waiting for my visa begins

      I guess the 221G is a refusal worksheet, but it doesnt mean visa denial. It is asking for more proofs or in your case, baptismal certificate.
