while waiting gather info from your mom about her parents name, previous addresses, education background, name of their children or your siblings...as long as you just save the form and don't hit submit button you can edit the form...coz once you submit it its kinda difficult to edit or correct it.

I filed for my mom. We're almost at the stage in submitting ds230. I wonder if it is ok that my mom can print the form then sign it and scan and send it to me( I am the petitioner) through email, so that it is more quicker.

ds 230 is already replaced with ds 260 which is an online form...so its useless if u submit the ds 230..just gather the info needed when you fill up the ds 260.

That's why they want the AKA, regardless of the correction.

You have to comply with the 221g ASAP. They will not issue the visa if your mom doesn't submit the new NBI.

As long as you have the cover sheet for each case, you can submit the AOS in one envelope but separate form and documents...thats what I did when I submit the AOS...

Just wanted to update you on my mom's petition.

do i need to include some of my mom's civil documents like her birth certificate, marriage contract, and my birth certificate?

Just send the AOS document. The bc, mc, nbi, police clearance you submit it with the IV documents checklist. on your AOS make sure that on line 22 from your tax return is what you will put on the part 6 line 13a, 13b, and 13c. so that you will not get an AOS Checklist.

Hi everyone! So, just pai the AOS and IV fee. I am now sending the I864 to NVC. What do I do with the DS230? Does my parents (Whome I petitioning) needs to fill out each the DS230 and send it to me?

DS 230 has been replaced by DS 260...you just need their information

basically you can filled it up but don't submit until you completed it correctly.. you can save it and edit it..but once you submitted it there is no way to go back so you have to be careful. just save the form but don't submit it yet and you will see that option...

Make sure that the gross income on line 22 on the 1040 tax return is what on the total gross income you put on the I-864 form for part 6 no. 10.

Yes, I did both ds 261 for choice of agent and ds 260 as long as you know the information from the beneficiary..and make sure to review the answer/information before you submit the DS 260.

In your original post you said it was 15 years ago. Now its 32 years ago?

Either way, yes. If he worked in Oman for more than 12 months after the age of 16 he'll need one.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

question on civil documents. i am ready to submit the civil documents for my parents however i only have original birth certificate is attached to my mom paper. and the photocopy of my birth certificate to my dad. will they reject my dad documents if i only send the photocopy of my birth certificate. everything is ok except this? please let me know otherwise i will just ask again for my mom and dad to send me an original b.c...i already submit the ds 260 online....

Just a quick question to everybody I already download the DS 230 and have my parents signed it...but I see that NVC replaces DS 230 to DS260 which is an online form....Is there anybody here from the Philippines that already filled up the ds 260 electronically?

U can get the form online use the new version of all the forms

Good luck about the medical my advice is when u r waiting the case complete , maybe u can go for advance medical
