    This number DOES have a bearing on when your application will be processed, as the case number will be referenced in the visa bulletin - lower number = processed earlier in the fiscal year.

    my case number is seven zeros followed by a two digit number. im guessing based on this my application process will be quite soon?

    I have a family member that won both times - May 1 and July 15 - the new number is in mid 20 thousand while the old one was under 10 thousand.

    @ millimelo i also won. are you basing their new number in the 20 thousands based on the case number or something else? does this having any bearing on anything?
