Thanks for the responses, I've looked at the guides and people's timelines, but am going a little crazy since we're sooooo FLIPPIN close!!!

Just thought I'd ask to see if anyone knew... but it looks like anywhere from 2-6 weeks... just wondering for the holidays, ya know??

I know I'm real good at waiting with this process at this point, but just wondering about how long it took for people to get their interview dates from the time they had their medical?? And I'm referring to the lovely London Embassy. I thought we'd have an interview date within a week after his medical... but no such luck as of yet... Can anyone offer me some hope??

We're just soooo close...

My fiance and I also got our approval at the beginning of September. Once we got our approval, we had him get his police report. During this wait time, the NVC logged us in and we got our new case number from the DOS (LND#######) for London. Once he had this, he was able to schedule his Medical. He has yet to receive his "packet 3", but he has already called the embassy and they've logged our case into their system. He should be mailing them all of our forms in the next day or two. I had written just a simple two-line sentence about how we met which was on a tour of the UK-- I included the dates as well. They don't need an essay written, so no need to be too detailed. (For once. )

I started waitressing part-time to 1. Save up $$$ to spend on (another) trip to England, and 2. To keep myself busy...checking VJ and Igor's List was driving me nuts! I was obsessed with checking what number we were on the list and hoping that we'd get our NOA2 Approval everyday... take up a hobby, get a part-time job, just try to stay busy!!!

OMG... and it finally arrived!!! I received the notification at 4:58pm today that we've been approved!!!!! soooooo happy!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you to the community here at VJ who has been great in keeping my slightly more sane thru this waiting process.

Congratulations and I hope the rest of your journey goes quickly! I am hoping to get my petition approved in the next few weeks... but in the mean time, I will be visiting my fiance in just two short days!!! It makes the wait a little easier...

We met last year in April 2010 while I was in the UK for three weeks on vacation. He visited me two times after that and I've been to the UK an additional four times after that and will be going again to FINALLY see him in just 2 more days!!! The visits help with this LOOOONGGGG wait time. Thanks VSC for teaching me true patience.

Of course, hopefully this will be enough... I plan on going back just one more time possibly for the Interview and to bring my souvenier finally home permanently with me

Went on a three week tour of the UK and Ireland. He was the coach driver of my tour and we hit it off right away. He ended up even coming out to the states to visit me right after my tour ended too. It was then that we decided to really make a go of it. Talk about one hell of a souvenir!!! Didn't know I'd meet the love of my life!!

I'm hoping to receive my NOA2 in the next month or so since I filed at the end of April. YAYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!! I just love the waiting!

I just recently discovered the Berkley Igor's list website and have been looking at the stats and updates every day. Quite obsessively and have been wondering the same thing... how accurate is the list? We just broke the 200 mark, so I was SUPER excited about that... but then again, how accurate is it?
