    Hello, actually had to reschedule. What a pain. Be advised, if your wifey has kids from another man, be sure that she has custody and documented, notorized permission from the father allowing the kids to leave the Dom Rep.

    Sooo...i sent in the IV packet and NVC says there is a gap in the timeline of where my wife has lived since the age 16 on the DS-230 page 2, question 29. I put a date from age 16 to present and the NVC says there is a 6 month gap. There is a space to pust a date or "Present". Should i just put "PRESENT" and no beginning date?

      Yes it did... But they asked a lots of personal and unthinkable questions. One of them was what what airline, time of arrival, flight #, and who pick me up at the airport.

      I think you need the beginning date. I'm not sure if they do too much to verify it, but I just picked a random month and year because my husband didn't know exact dates. The date I provided was never questioned by NVC or during the interview.

    Hi Thomas,

    Our papers are on thier way to Dom Rep and will be awaiting the interview date. I read where you said that they asked you some obsurd questions. I have heard it can be like that with those people. Can you give me some examples. Thanks in advance,
