Thank you for posting my info. the appointment notice arrived yesterday and i had seen so many talk of early bio, so I thought why not? I don't know if it speeds the process up but it feels great not to have to wait to go to the appointment. It seems they are willing to do early bios so we should all try even to just make ourselves feel like we made something happen instead of always being held to deadlines by them. but, now the wait is on and VSC will take as long as they want or need to. But it did feel good to be proactive and do something other than what they say to do. if you get my meaning?

Hey Guys, I just did an early bio walk in today. there was hardly anyone there (about 1pm) and I was done and out in 5mins flat. the lady said they would always do it if it wasnt to busy so go try everyone it cant hurt. please add my early bio to the list

just recieved ASC appointment today for bio notice date 7/15/2011 Bio date 08/04/2011 can you please update me

In some States, if a police pulled you over asking for your driver license, he/she will check your immigration status as well; and, the next thing they will ask for is you current valid green card. Yes, the holograms-imprinted plastic one, not a photocopy. Georgia is one of them now.

Spoken from experience.

I was stopped by the police in a sub division doing 30 in a 25 (he wasn't bored was he?) near Charlotte NC. I happened to have my green card with me, after taking my drivers license and checking me out, he said i detect an accent where are you from? I said London England, he asked me how I was finding life and general chit chat. I said I have my green card if you want to see it? he said no thank you sir that wont be necessary, gave me a warning for my "speeding" and bid me a good day. Just my experience, since then, I have left my green card at home as I figured that my DL was enough for them to check me out, considering in NC that you must proove status to obtain a license.
