  1. me and my fiance, happens to talk about wedding plans...well, he wants to get married as soon as i come down on the plane...well, i think that is so sweet of him to say that...i would definitely want to do that...but of course being a woman, i would wish for a nice wedding that is well planned and organized...i did somehow talked it to him but not directly...but he answered me in a way that i felt like our wedding day is like an ordinary day for him...because he wants it so simple...no preparations or anything...and i just dont know how to convince him to have a better preparation on our wedding day...well, i dont intend to be wed several times, so i am thinking of a having a nice one...i think he is worried about the money, expenses to get married :( so i told him, would u rather want our wedding one month after i come in USA? well, he retaliated then someone called from his office and our conversation hasn't really ended...I want a nice wedding...i want to feel that our wedding day is specially prepared...but it seems he wanted like a drive-thru...what do you think girls? VJ members and friends? am i asking too much? or what? Hope someone responds...any opinion is appreciated...

You deserve to be happy. There is absolutely nothing wrong with having a nice wedding. But also, you should know your fiance's financial capabilities, then you'll know the answer to your question if you're asking for too much..

  2. So we got our NOA2 approval last Aug 10. Called NVC and they gave us our manila case number Aug 15. My fiance called yesterday, Aug 24 to ask if our case is already forwarded to the listed consulate. The agent said our case is undergoing further processing and unfortunately there is no time frame for that. I called again today and got the same response. I'm getting really worried that there is something wrong with our case. Has anyone gone thru the same thing? any inputs will be appreciated. Thanks!!

  3. Hello everyone, I am from the Philippines and my fiance is in the military, stationed in Guam. We're getting married this Novedmber in Las Vegas. my question is, am I allowed to go to Guam right after we get married in Vegas? I mean the K1 visa is single entry only right? I know that Guam is a US territory, just want to make sure if travelling there is allowed. thanks!! :)

  4. Hi, we have the same situation. :) my fiance is in the military right now and will be out in like 2 months. maybe same time as my interview.. We cant get a co-sponsor because its not usually accepted here in manila. So he will just have to find a job right after he leaves military. Maybe your fiance can do the same, don't risk it. Does he really need to wait for you to go with him before he can find another job?

  5. Leter of intent should be original signature. G-325a does not have to be signed at all. See below.

    Interoffice Memorandum

    To: SERVICE CENTER DIRECTORS

    From: Michael Aytes /S/

    Acting Associate Director for Operations

United States Citizenship and Immigration Services

    Department of Homeland Security

    Date: November 1, 2005

Re: Guidance for Processing Pending Form I-129F Petition for Alien Fiancé(e) when

G-325A for Petitioner and/or Beneficiary is not Signed and/or Photos not Submitted.

    Purpose

To provide field offices with guidance on processing Form I-129F petitions when the accompanying G-325A is missing signatures and/or photographs.

A properly executed Form G-325A is required for all I-129F petitions. Previously it was standard practice to issue an RFE when the beneficiary failed to sign the G-325A and/or failed to submit photographs. From the date of this memorandum, an RFE should not be issued in instances where the beneficiary failed to sign the G-325A and/or failed to include photographs provided that the beneficiary is residing abroad. The beneficiary will be required to sign the Form G-325A and/or submit photographs at the time of visa issuance abroad. It is also not necessary to RFE for the petitioner’s signature on the G-325A, if the petitioner failed to sign it. The signature of the petitioner on the Form I-129F should be deemed sufficient for purposes of adjudicating the petition. Finally, it is important to note that the petitioner’s photograph is still required for the adjudication of the I-129F, so if it is missing, it must be requested prior to adjudication.

Questions regarding this memorandum may be directed through appropriate channels to Mica Pilz of Service Center Operations.

it only state the G-325A. how about the letter of intent not signed by the beneficiary?

  6. Since I signed and dated the letter, I didn’t get the RFE, however; I saw few people got the RFE due to the unsigned letter. As the guideline states the letter has to be signed and dated. Now send it back as quickly as possible after you sign and date. It might take another 2-4 weeks to get the approval after RFE.

    Good Luck

Can i send a signed letter of intent even if I dont have an RFE yet? I'm just wondering why our case worker who is an expert in this field told us that my intent letter need not to be signed.

  7. HI guys.. we payed an agency to guide us through this fiance visa process.. well i dont have an idea yet that visa journey website exists.. our case worker told us that i may or may not sign the fiancee letter of intent. Does anyone here received an RFE because of unsigned fiancee letter of intent? we're just on our 3rd month of waiting.. I dont know if its the new memo or our agency is not updated.. any input will be appreciated.. thanks! :)

  8. :wacko::unsure:

    don't u think u have a problem too???

just noticed this is not the first time u posted a thread like this one... from ur previous K1 and i think several times for this 2nd K1... remember u did sent a withdrawal too to USCIS but still the petition got approved, right??? just wondering.... :pop: can't u make a final decision...? :girlwerewolf2xn:

just in case u missed it, he's just asking whether to withdraw the petition or let it expire. not for your unsolicited advice :)

  9. I am a newly graduated nurse I didn't have any problems with my visa. I got approved last July 19, 2011. The consul asked me if I have plans to work in the US and I answered, "Yes, in the future"

They wouldn't see it as a red flag as long as your engagement is real and you have strong evidences of a bonafide relationship and they will be glad to have you in the US because you're not going to be a public charge.

thanks for your input paul_kay. that is such a relief that they don't question nursing grads.. yea they should be happy that we're not going to be a public charge :)

  10. I get your point lovepath :) its just that there is this huge number of unemployed nurses here in the phils, wanting to go abroad to work and some people is just using this K1 way. I just got a bit worried about it, but your right, all we have to do is show that our relationship is real and strong. He visits me here every 3 months, he's been here like 5 times already. I think its enough.. thanks again ;)

  11. I also applied for a tourist visa like 4 years ago and got denied because they found out that I'm in a nursing school. They are really on the lookout for nurses applying for tourist visa. But I guess since yours got approved, there's no need to worry about it.. thanks for your reply! :) oh btw When did u graduate?

  12. Hi guys!!! is anyone here a nurse? I mean the benefeciary being the nurse and got approved or has had any problems because the immigration people might think that we're only doing it for immigration purposes only. I need your input guys! thanks!

  13. I think the two of you should talk it out first. About some unresolved problems in the past or maybe she's expecting something from you that you weren't able to do or show. It might have just exploded on that day when her friend visited. I sometimes experience some mood swings and end up regreting things that I've said to him. but in the end he made me realize that we need to respect each other. Just apologize and ask her whats bothering her. you'll be alright. how old is she if u dont mind?
