  1. Hawkinsville - wow. If you mean the Hawkinsville that is close to Robins AFB in Warner Robins, there are at least 50 filipina working on the base, and many working in the local hospital.

Local Sari Sari store, (Elsies), on Houston lake Road in Warner Robins, they will have all of your food necessities and ship your Balikbayan boxes for you.

Lots of filipina in the local Catholic Church also (Sacred Heart), in Warner Robins.

All of this should be within a 30 minute drive of Hawkinsville.

Ok Dave I will find out of this thru my husband hope I can have a friend I'm just new here and I don't know all about here .lol. but anyway thanks for that nice info you share to me.
  2. ok sis , so did they tell you why it was issued late and they didn't issue at the same time?

I got a k1 as well and I'm hoping they will issue our visas at the same time:) Nice Christmas presents for you sis:)

No they did not tell me why, When I call at US embassy they just inform me about the issued date and say just wait. Yeah best Christmas I ever receive in my life. You will get yours too Sis.

  3. I already call before I receive the notification letter from the US embassy and the man who answer the phone say friday or monday it will be here (9 or 12 of December). Everything was ok they did not say it is in adminitrative review and when I get done with my interview the CO say I am approve, congradulation. So I keep on wondering here what happen.

  5. Where is your location? Mine issued Dec.15 and the email said wait 7 to 10 business days but I just received today. So less than a week I received it. I guess it depends where u at. Anyway just wait and u will have it soon...

I'm in Leyte. Yeah I will just wait here I hope I will get mine this week. But anyway, congradulation to you shure.

  6. Take your passport and the MNL # to BPI and pay the fee to the USEM, wait a day (roughly) then you can schedule your interview online. You can register for St. Luke's online also, from what I read its first come first serve, you save time with the online registration.

Everyone says to not wait for a letter from the USEM as you will be wasting too much time.

  7. hello,

my interview is coming on dec 12 but we cant find my husband original birth certificate. and it takes time to get it unless ill order it online for 99.oo, is it ok ill just bring my husband passport??? please reply asap thanks

During my interview they did not ask the BC and passport of my fiance but better tho you have all the documents in you so you don't get the 221g. I just get done with my interview last November 25,2011 the only thing they get was the I-134 Affidavit of Support,1099 if he is self-emplyed or W-2, 2010 Tax Return, He make letter too stating on his work income, divorce paper then pictures. This is what I remember. Augie

  8. Thanks for the reply...

Ok... so he only needs a PERMISSION TO TRAVEL LETTER if its an international flight... right?

It depends on the situation you have. In the Philippines Law if you are annulled you should have the sole custody of the child.

  9. Just attended the CFO seminar in Cebu earlier today. They asked for:

    Originals and photocopies of:

    1. NSO birth certificate

    2. NSO marriage contract (In your case it would have to be CENOMAR)

    3. 2 valid ID's - passport, PRC license, driver's license, NBI clearance.

    And copies of:

    1. Pictures together - they mentioned 3 but they only got 2 from me

    2. Partner's passport

    3. Partner's birth certificate

Also, divorce/annulment decrees (not sure what they're called) if these apply.

To answer your question, I THINK they need to see originals. They need to compare it with the copies. They just keep the copies, though.

  10. I think it was a post from another country that got everyone spooked again. Philippines has no such law on this and if you are coming from there it's the only country that matters. Yes you need BC of child and I would have either a cenomar to show because if never married custody is always with mother or have your annulment papers that show custody is with mother. Thanks to those of you that have already done this for posting. ...Side note ...if not flying with fiance they are requiring a few extra steps when he buys the tickets and you need a copy of his credit card used for the tickets.

  11. Your welcome. I dont plan on getting any letter, I will be there to get my fiance and stepson in january and we will have the annulment docs with us. Phil is not a parental rights country only problem I know of is if shared custody. If you re not flying with your fiance be sure to read up on what will be needed to board the plane tho.

  12. Standard annulment in Phil awards custody to mother. Phil is not a parental rights country. If unmarried custody is automatically with mother. So unless your annulment states shared custody I see no problem maybe we will hear from some who have flown out of manila soon.

  13. Yeah you could always give it a shot with copies and see how it goes but you can get NBI nd BC in one day there now. they only ever keep copies, never give them originals but they can ask to see the originals

  14. Ok after waking up a bit...she will need original BC and NBI, but she can get that in one day there at NSO. You should be ok unless you also brought her passport back with you? She will need copy of your passport Bio page. It doesn't specifically ask for BC or NBI, one would think the visa and related papers and 2x2's would be enough but the "other documents" category can trip you up. the seminar is conducted by nuns and they tend to be strict, the idea is to be sure its a legit relationship and the guy is decent. I know they looked at the pics my girl brought and even kept one. they wanted to see her original BC and NBI. another tip- to help filling out forms, your girl needs to know your address and ph # , your mothers maiden name, and if she has a relative in the States she should know their address and ph#. Original annulment papers if applicable. Check the site for the site for the rest... 2 forms of ID etc.
