Approved in Seattle very quick process today. Mom got approved on 3/31/2011 took along time and home interview. Today was a breeze.

Good for both of you! Congrats! It's rare to land such an opportunity right at the beginning of a journey in the US. She must be a very smart lady.

Today is rainy and cold. The only bright AOS spot is that someone was approved today. But not us. We are in that lucky group that was transfered to CSC where our file sits on a desk or in a box and nothing happens. I know, I know -- They have control and they have no heart. Still, it helps a bit to complain.

Hang in there and before you know it it will be approved. Most that have been transfered have not required an interview....that is about a month of wait time ( notice date to appointment date ) .

During the summer USCIS made changes and instead of the documents being separate, the EAD and AP are now on the same card.

Recd EAD card today priority mail. On the card it says serves as I-512 advance parole

On my mother's prior EAD last year she received two copies of a Advance Parole letter with photo intgrated into the official document.

I wonder if I will get the letter soon. A/p text was received a last week.

Recd our RFE today and they want most recent tax return for the I-864.

Easy enough mail it off tommorrow.

Recd a text message today of status change. An RFE was mailed 9/8/11....wait and wonder what else they may want

Wow at almost the one month mark we got the text message today and case status says recd 7/8/2011, Check still not cashed got the three case numbers by text today EAD,AP and AOS

Mine showed recd on 7/7/11. No email, no check cashed, No NOA-1 in the mail yet or my package back....

Mailed my son's petition on 7/5/2011 his 18th Birthday

My wife and daughter had arrived first and received their Green Cards in about 6 months

Hopefully Cris will get his permit to work card and travel doc swiftly.

Since his mother was recently approved it will be interesting to see if we go through the interview process again of if the application get shipped off to California
