  1. Hi,

I found your post through google searching this website. I am kinda in the same situation like you. Could you share what decision you made with me please? I entered as F-1, then OPT, and then H1B and I misplaced my new I-94(this one has my H1B status and expiration date). Good thing is that my employer has a photo copy of the I-94. Now I am preparing my AOS documents(recently got married to a USC)and I wonder if you apply for the I-94 replacement (it is now $330!)first or you file I-102 and AOS concurrently?

    Thank you!

you can use the photocopied i-94 card ... i had the same issue when i was changing from f1 to greencard . and i didnt have any problem with my application and interview . i just got approved a few days ago . all the best .

    hey my interview experience

    1. he swore us in and basically went through our documents with us ;such as verifying my information as to whether im the applicant and the same applied to my wife .

    2. after the verification period which took about 15-20 mins ... he asked me if i had anything to support my marriage , to which i didnt have enough due to the tornado that destroyed most of my properties . i only had few pictures and a lease to present to the officer .

    3. he asked if we had a bank statement -ans :i said yes and my wife said no and then we both said yes .

4.he asked if we had our house keys on us and we said no ... which kinda made us seem a little suspicious .

    5. he then decided to separate us . but most of the questions he asked were based on what we did the night before and what we wore and most of the questions were pertaining to my wife.

    6. when he was satisfied with our answers he told us we should get something in the mail within 7 days ,,, which took me 102 days to get my approval notice .

  3. Call again USCIS number and try to talk to 2 level officer , i had pending case for more over 130 days , called them at least 10 times before smb actually decided to help ( it was 2 level IO ) . Another option schedule Infopass .

I've been calling them for the longest time , and the only reason why i havent decided on an info pass yet is cuz i live about 5 hours away from the field office . so what did the officer tell you after the interview and how did your end ?thank you . Luux

  4. I had my interview for aos family base in may 2nd at the atlanta field office . and after the interview the officer told us that , we should receive something in the mail within a 7days . surprisingly its been over 2months and nothing yet , i did a service request and their response was ' WE WILL NOTIFY YOU BY MAIL AS SOON AS A DECISION IS MADE" my question is has anyone been through such a situation or has any idea of what the outcome in cases like this end up to be . thank you . HIGHLY STRESSED .
