  1. We also got multiple emails about the EAD. As far as I can tell, the first one is when you're approved and the card production is requested. There is a second one when the card is actually produced, and there will be a third one saying it is mailed out. First two emails are exactly the same, the third will say that a noticed was mailed out. You should get the EAD soon!

Oh great! Glad to hear thank you so much!

    Congrats! Thanks for sharing.

Same me, on dec. 21 second notice of EAD. I think it is all normal, there is a lot of posts on that subject.

Perfect! Looks like we are back to having a very very similar timeline :) and congrats again!

  2. You are right, dear! Just will stay positive.

Well, I'm very inpatiente person, so couldn't handle and called USCIS helpline. Checked on my status and they said that the system shows my case has been put in a queue for interview date  . I wonder how long after this message I would get a letter about interview

Also, nothing about EAD, still in process....

That's awesome! Congrats im glad you reached out! Hopefully we'll both kick off 2012 well and moving forward with our timeline, fingers crossed. No EAD updates for me either!

Also, nothing about EAD, still in process....

  4. For a lil update, my EAD has been approved on Dec 1st, 58 days after i submitted my application.

    No RFE so far :)

And i didn't file for AP, as I am an overstay.

    That's so exciting! Congratulations!

Still waiting on my EAD but had my biometrics about 20 days after yours, thanks for bringing some hope to my timeline!!

Did you get an update on USCIS website/status or via mail?

I didn't file for AP either, as I'm also an overstay so I'm looking forward to staying tuned to your updates!!! Many congratulations again, one step closer!

  5. hi guys am in charlotte north carolina, am jus gonna be sending my application for adjustment of status through marriage, am not sure if certain evidence such as lease agreements bank accounts pictures, insurance etc, should be sent in with the initial application package, or should that be taken in when we have the interview

I strongly suggest that you follow the VJ guides & instructions on the USCIS guides. I submitted only what the forms required (tons of bonafide marriage evidence except for pictures/letters/things of that nature) -- We sent renter's insurance, bank account statement, life insurance, lease agreement, the application was accepted and we are moving right along in the process so far. However, should they request more evidence via mail/at the interview if we have one, I'll send pictures and other "soft" evidence. Best of luck!

  6. It depends on your doctor, but at mine, they did a general check-up and most of my time was spent with the nurse who gave me any vaccinations that I had expired and also, because my exam took place during the flu season, they were required to give it to me as well. They administered a TB test, I am always concerned with those because in the last three times that I had them done, it came out false positive; so I knew I was destined for an x-ray. I don't know what happened but when I returned for the measurement/check if it was positive, it was completely negative and I didn't need to have an x-ray done, so you never know!

Immediately after the office prepared all the paper work and had it ready for me to take home in a sealed envelope; they also gave me a copy of all the documents for my records.

Nothing out of the ordinary and nothing you should prepare in advance for! Good luck!

  7. Completed biometrics today, super fast process, got there a few minutes early and got out by the time my appointment was set for.

Very friendly staff, all they asked was for my ID and notice. They stamped it and conducted fingerprints and picture... Remember you can't show your teeth! (sounds silly but out of practice was the first thing I did).

Now the waiting game begins for the next step.

  8. You should be able to track it with your receipt number especially after getting your NOA hard copy letter.

    My timeline so far...

    USPS delivery notice 10/20

USCIS text message and email of application receipt 10/24

NOA letter and biometrics appointment (separate envelopes) 10/27

    Biometrics appointment 11/22

I've read to give up to a month before calling but if you got a receipt number you should be able to track your case online and it should at least say that the application has been received. Give it a few more days, I'm sure it will be in your mailbox before you know!

Keep me updated! All the best vibes your way!
